Stuck in another world, Sasha finds herself with the Plantar family and befriends Sprig, who tries to prove himself as a friend to her.

- Bait-and-Switch: The first few paragraphs of the story play out the same as the TV series when it cuts to Sprig being tackled by Sasha instead of a rope snare as the following events start to play differently.
- Establishing Character Moment: While it all plays out the same, Sasha, who takes Anne's place, has a different take. In this story, Sasha is introduced to be surviving on her own in the wilderness all alone while questioning how she ended up in Amphibia in the first place.
