With help from Salem, Sabrina summons The Lord of the Dance (Hilda’s ex-flame) for some magical dancing shoes to help Harvey learn to move in time for a school dance. But, like in Hans Christian Anderson's The Red Shoes, once Harvey puts the shoes on, he can't stop dancing.
Tropes:
- The '80s: What the school dance is themed around. Hilda thought it was the 1780’s until she was corrected.
- Abhorrent Admirer: While The Lord of the Dance isn’t ugly, Hilda is obviously creeped out by his advances.
- Funny Background Event: An earthworm parachutes off Sabrina’s head after she collided with the ground.
- Prefers Going Barefoot: Unsurprisingly, once Harvey's shoes have been magicked off, he is delighted to be free and barefoot.
- Soundtrack Dissonance: The ice cream truck that passes by plays “London Bridge Is Falling Down”, which is an unlikely choice of music for selling ice cream.
