Mario's attempt in joining the Spaghetti Lovers Club causes the club to lose its president, who is Girlfriend from
Friday Night Funkin'. Now, Mario has to rap if he wants to save her from Daddy Dearest and join the club.
- Adaptational Villainy: Whitty from VS Whitty gets this treatment. In the original Friday Night Funkin' Game Mod he appears in, Whitty is a tragic character who has anger issues and hates Daddy Dearest. In this episode, Whitty is a willing pawn to Daddy Dearest and is more than happy to beat Mario down.

- In the original game, Daddy Dearest is a legitimately talented singer. In this episode, Daddy Dearest gets his singing skills by assimilating the spirit of PaRappa the Rapper.
- The antagonists in this episode are defeated during the middle of their respective songs. In the original game, the antagonists always sing an entire song.
- Adapted Out: All the antagonists from Weeks 3 and 6—who were introduced in the game when this episode was released—are absent. However, the scene where Week 6's second opponent appears is imitated when PaRappa the Rapper frees himself from Daddy Dearest.
- Contrived Coincidence: Mario finds out that Girlfriend is the president of the Spaghetti Lovers Club after he accidentally gets her taken away by Daddy Dearest.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Mario's team defeats Daddy Dearest's team without losing a single Rap Battle.
- Moment Killer: Near the end of the episode, Mario interrupts Boyfriend and Girlfriend's Big Damn Kiss to insist on having his Spaghetti Lovers club meeting.
