Reki is still lost in his depression and unsure of how he's supposed to face Langa, while other events involving S start to come to a head.

- Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: Joe is the first person to run down to Cherry, screaming "Kaoru!" as he checks him for further wounds.
- Big Damn Reunion: Reki finally seeks out Langa after he returns home, finds him at the skatepark and the two have a heart to heart discussion.
- Bridal Carry: Joe carries Cherry this way in order to get him into Shadow's car and to the hospital.
- Every Man Has His Price: Tadashi offers Reki an envelope of money so he wouldn't cause him trouble for hitting him with his car. Reki doesn't take the money.
- Laser-Guided Karma: The skater that Shadow taunted in episode 1 comes back for revenge. Thanks to Shadow humiliating him that day, his girlfriend dumped him and he attempts to hit Shadow's manager with a steel pipe which Shadow protects her from.
- Look Both Ways: In his haste to get away from the hospital and to keep Langa from following him, Reki doesn't look both ways as he runs into a street and gets hit by a car.
- Love Hotels: Reki finds himself in one after Tadashi accidentally hit him with his car. He's understandably confused and on edge when he wakes up.
- Luminescent Blush: Reki sports this when he's embarrassed at being inside a love hotel. He also blushes a lot when Langa starts complimenting him.
- The Promise: Miya tries to remind Reki that he promised he and Langa wouldn't leave Miya's side like his old friends did. But unable to process his current emotions, Reki shoves Miya aside while the young teen yells at Reki for being a liar.
- Secret Handshake: As Langa and Reki perform their usual handshake, they follow it up with a DAP which they both genuinely smile and laugh over.
- Underestimating Badassery: Miya is unsure about the rocky area of the S course that Snake takes in stride and dances through to the surprise of Miya and the viewers at S.
- Use Your Head: To get Tadashi to listen to his point of view, Reki grabs his shirt collar and head-butts him.
- Watch Where You're Going!: As they reconcile, Langa doesn't pay attention as he crashes into Reki who is screaming just before they collide.
