With Captain's Soul Drive stolen and the rest of the Gundam's busy fighting, it's up to Shute to climb the Horn of War and face Commander Sazabi. But even if he can survive the trip, what can a human do against the Dark Axis warrior?

- Bad Boss: Commander Sazabi was already abusive to the DA trio for their failures but his treatment of them was generous compared to how he treats his underlings here. In response to Doga Grey's failure, he vaporizes him. When Shute asks how he could treat his friend that way, Sazabi responds by shooting down a number of his Doga Bombers just to demonstrate that he doesn't care about any of his subordinates.
- Big Damn Heroes: While climbing the Horn, Captain's Soul Driveless body appears to help Shute against Doga Grey. Later on, Zero, Bakunetsumaru, Guneagle and Chief Haro come to save the day when the Doga Bombers nearly blast Shute, Sayla, Keiko and Mayor Gathermoon.
- Chekhov's Gun: The Feather from Fen and Dai-Shogun's gift received from previous episodes are what's used to turn the Bagu Bagu into White Bagu Bagu.
- Hannibal Lecture: Commander Sazabi lectures Shute that there only two kinds of people; the rulers and the ruled, and claims that Captain Gundam is no better because he used his Soul Drive to put the robots of Neotopia under his control (When in fact, Captain did so to save the robots from Mind Control).
- Shut Up, Hannibal!: Shute insists that the Soul Drive is used to help, not control
- He's Back!: With help from Zero and Bakunetsumaru, Shute returns the Soul Drive to Captain!
- Kick the Dog: Commander Sazabi first vaporizes Doga Grey for failing to stop Shute and Gunvehicle Captain, then wipes out some Doga Bombers just to show how evil he is.
- Un-Paused: The petrified people of Neotopia are this when Captain reverses the Bagu Bagu.
