Lord Sinclair has been murdered. It was probably one of his six children, but whodunnit? That's up to you to find out.
Each suspect has different-colored clothes, one set of which will correspond to a thread left in the glass of the window the suspect broke to get into Lord Sinclair's room. Each has a silver item that has their fingerprint on it, and one print will correspond to a print left on the dagger in Lord Sinclair's room (the dagger itself is a Red Herring left by the murderer, since Lord Sinclair was actually poisoned). Each bought poison for a particular task, one of which will be left undone.
The culprit is different for everyone. Can you solve the mystery?
Tropes
- The Butler Did It: You can suggest this to the gossip, who laughs and says you've read too many mystery novels. In any case, the Sinclairs' butler is innocent.
- Fair-Play Whodunnit: The player solving the mystery is the whole point of the quest.
