PRIDE struggles to keep itself together in the wake of Janet and Robert's affair, as well as the Wilders' revelation that Molly knows more than she lets on. Meanwhile, Frank does some digging of his own, while the kids remain on edge as the stolen files slowly decrypt.

  • Alpha Bitch: The girl running the dance squad. In the first episode it looked like she was reasonable (understanding that Molly was having bad cramps and giving her advice), but here the mask is off and she's awful.
  • Chekhov's Gun: A literal example, as Janet shoots Victor with the gun Robert gave her.
  • Daddy Didn't Show: In one flashback, Victor was too busy to show up to the lacrosse city championships, which Chase's team won. When Chase calls him out on it, Victor hits him.
  • Dude, Where's My Respect?: Leslie reminds Jonah of all she's done for the Church of Gibborim while he was incapacitated.
  • Face Framed in Shadow: When Victor finds Chase working in his lab, his face is framed in shadow to emphasize how he's fully reverted back to his abusive ways.
  • Fantastic Drug: Jonah's DNA. Whatever fluid Jonah gave Victor and Dale got accidentally exposed to initially makes them euphoric but after the effect wears off, it makes them violent, mainly Victor.
  • For Want Of A Nail: Future!Chase's message implies that Victor picking up the Fistigons leads to a Bad Future.
  • Foreshadowing: Dale gets hit by a drop of Jonah's serum and gets high, mimicking Victor's personality change. But then he comes down...
  • Healing Hands: Invoked and subverted at the same time. Frank manages to bring back a dying (or dead) friend of the Church with just a touch of his hands. Turns out Jonah just gave him gloves with healing powers.
  • Internal Reveal:
    • Molly confesses she slipped up with Catherine to the group. The Wilders tell the Yorkeses about Molly. And then Karolina and Chase see the Wilders talking with the Yorkeses and tell the while group.
    • Leslie admits her relationship with Jonah to Frank.
  • Malicious Misnaming: If the fact that she was a mean girl wasn't clear enough, after bringing Molly on board as "manager", Eiffel only calls her various names that start with M.
  • Mythology Gag: Nico's red hat and spiky pigtails is a nod to a similar look she sports in the comics.
  • Offing the Offspring: Subverted. Victor looks extremely ready to end Chase with the Fistigons, before Janet stops him by putting a bullet through his shoulder.
  • Ominous Message from the Future: Future!Chase warns Victor not to pick up the Fistigons — it's implied to kick off the Bad Future previously implied.
  • Thwarted Coup de GrĂ¢ce: Victor has Chase pinned as he prepares to open fire on his son with the Fistigons, until Janet shoots him.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: Subverted. Although Victor initially seems like a much better person after receiving Jonah's medicine (he's caring towards his wife and son for the first time in years), this is just a side effect of being exposed to Jonah's DNA. He later physically threatens Robert and Chase's lacrosse coach, before losing his cool yet again with his son Chase when he finds the latter working in the lab without him. He subsequently attempts to kill Chase afterwards.
  • Wham Shot:
    • Frank finding a photograph of Leslie's eighth grade graduation. She's standing next to Jonah, who looks exactly the same as he does in the present.
    • Victor is standing over Chase, with the Fistigons ready to fire... and then Janet shoots him.
