- Adaptational Context Change:
- In Rick and Morty, the cause of the time fracture was the uncertainty of Morty and Summer's place in Rick's world. Here, it's the uncertainty between Lucy and Lynn caused by their fight.
- In The Loud House, Lucy and Lynn's fight was an average sibling fight. In this story, it's because Lucy's still upset about her sisters wanting to change her on Valentine's Day and she's been taking it out on Lynn since she's her roommate.
- Adapted Out: As Beth and Jerry are not in this story, so too is their "deer surgery" subplot from the corresponding Rick and Morty episode.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Rick gives up his time collar to save Lynn from the quantum void. But of course, he finds the collar she dropped and gets his own timeline synchronized.
- Put on a Bus: Lily's still at the "Lilyboree" daycare during this chapter. Justified, as this particular adventure would have been too dangerous for a baby.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: After Lincoln silently admits to Lynn that he didn't like her as a roommate, she would noticeably become more aggressive and mean as the series goes on, culminating in the events of "No Such Luck" and "No Such Thing as Luck" in which she takes over the world just to reconnect with Lincoln on her terms.
