Pops' training is complete and he now has total control of his powers and ready to take on Anti-Pops. However Pops insists he would rather not fight and instead contacts Anti-Pops in the hopes of talking things out.
Tropes:
- Big Damn Heroes: Just as Anti-Pops is on the verge of erasing Pops, the Park Crew manage to find them and stop him in time.
- Cliffhanger: The episode ends with the crew just barely making it back to the Park Dome with Pops and escaping the asteroid as Anti-Pops erases it.
- For the Evulz: Anti-Pops makes it pretty clear he wants no reconciliation and thrives on misery and destruction, coldly rebuffing Pops offer of friendship. Rigby even tells Pops that some people are just jerks like that and the only recourse it to fight them.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Earl holds off Anti-Pops long enough for the Park crew to get Pops back to their Dome Ship and escape, ultimately getting erased by Anti-Pops' powers.
- Lured into a Trap: It's very obvious that Anti-Pops has no intention resolving things peacefully when he accepts Pops offer to meet. Earl even lampshades how blatant a trap it is, but Pops decides to try anyway. Not surprisingly Anti-Pops nearly kills him.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Let's just say Pop really underestimated his brother wanting to reconcile.
- P.O.V. Cam: As the Park Crew come to save Pops, the camera showcases the rescue from Pops' first person as they drag him out of the building back to the ship.
