List of tropes applying to this episode:

- Butt-Monkey: Things do not go well for the Reds and Tucker, but Grif gets the worst of it from one Groin Attack too many.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Tex spends the entire episode beating the crap out of Tucker and the Reds in a variety of creative ways.
- Groin Attack: Tex does this repeatedly towards Grif, with methods that include slamming the butt of a rifle into his groin and letting him land crotch-first onto a concrete barricade so hard it causes the concrete to crack. Poor guy.Grif: What is your problem with my Balls?!
- Instantly Proven Wrong: After they try dropping a giant crate on Tex:
- Saying Too Much: When Tucker yells at Caboose for dropping a crate between him and Tex, he says he is messing up their plan because he was supposed to distract Tex for Simmons, prompting Tex to turn around and notice Simmons preparing to fire on her.Simmons: YOU RATTED ME OUT, YOU SON OF A BITCH!
