Caboose takes Washington to meet Church, who is less than enthused to meet either of them.
This episode has examples of:
- Foreshadowing:
- When Caboose mentions that Church used to date Tex, Washington wonders aloud How Is That Even Possible?. This is a clue to the big Reveal that will occur later this season.
- Washington refers to the Red vs Blue war as "fake simulation stuff". This is the first hint to the true nature of the Red and Blue Forever War that is eventually revealed later.
- On Second Thought: Church wants nothing to do with Washington's mission until it's brought up that it centers around the ship Tex used to escape Blood Gulch.
- Recorded Spliced Conversation: A mysterious soldier records Washington's communication to Command, and splices it to send a fake message to Sarge.
