Ruby tries to make cookies, Weiss plays Pin the Tail on the Donkey, Ruby uncovers Blake's secret romance novel, and Weiss and Yang decide to train together.
Ruby Makes Cookies
Ruby attempts to make chocolate chip cookies. Murphy's Law intervenes.
- Powder Gag: When Ruby tries to get the flour out of its bag, it won't come out. She shakes it until all falls out, send flour exploding everywhere. The camera goes into white-out as it becomes covered in flour.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: Ruby puts in a lot of effort to make her cookies and never gives up no matter how badly things go wrong. She is rewarded for her perseverance with large, beautifully-made cookies... that she can't dunk in her milk because they're too big for the glass.
- Twitchy Eye: When Ruby realises the spoon is stuck in the cookie mix, she tries various methods to get it out. When she tries foot-slamming it, she lands hard on the unmoving spoon instead of succeeding. Her left eye briefly twitches in response, before she glares at the bowl.
Party Games
Weiss plays Pin the Tail on the Donkey, using Myrtenaster as her dart.
- Mundane Utility: Weiss uses her rapier as a pin when playing Pin the Tail on the Donkey by herself.
Ninjas of Love
Ruby reads Blake's porn.
- Filth: When Blake asks Ruby for the book back, Ruby angrily exclaims that the book is filth and hits her with it. However, she refuses to give the book back.
- Head-Tiltingly Kinky: When Ruby is reading the book, she comes across a page that forces her to tit the book. The page unfolds out, making it clear that Ruby is looking at a picture of something. She stares at it for a moment then declares "Now that's a katana".
- Throw the Book at Them: Ruby smacks Blake with the "filth" and walks away with it.
Weiss and Yang Training
Weiss and Yang spar. Yang's gauntlets run out of bullets, but Good Old Fisticuffs still work just fine, as Weiss finds out when she attempts to taunt her.
- Eyelid Pull Taunt: When Yang is about to strike the disarmed Weiss with her gauntlets, they both suddenly realise that Yang is out of ammo. Weiss pulls down her eyelid and sticks out her tongue to taunt Yang, who promptly punches her instead.
- Good Old Fisticuffs: When Yang realises she's out of ammo, Weiss thinks she's safe and taunts her. Yang simply punches Weiss, who forgot that Yang fights with her fists as much as she fights with bullets.
