After a while in the hole that made up Eva's trap, Kate and her friends are rescued by Robbie, who passes a rope down into the hole for them to cling on to. Kate passes the Royal Collar to Balloon, who is then chased by Zull and Gort along with Mela accompanying her as a form of distraction until they decide to split up. Robbie is then pursued by Krakia. Kate then helps Magic, Danny, and William out of the hole just as all of Eva's lackeys are busy dealing with the two other Guards and Robbie. Mela helps Robbie by pointing at a tree with a hole in its trunk, with Robbie swooping through the branches while Krakia ends up getting her beak stuck through the hole. Meanwhile, Balloon thinks of a plan to outsmart Eva's two underdogs, and from there she heads towards the hole, making Zull and Gort end up falling into the hole themselves.
After Eva flees, Kate asks Robbie if he would like to help Mark out by getting him to play more outdoors, to which he agrees. After Robbie is sent through the Friendship Ceremony, he distracts Mark by taking his stylus and flying outside as he chases him down, and flies around as if it was a game of tag. Mark realizes that outdoor games can be just as fun, and he finds that Robbie is a lot of fun to play with as well.
An even bigger fragment of Princess Ava appears in the fountain after it dries back up, and Kate and Magic return to the school in the Big City. Kate meets Alexia again, who was wondering where she was the whole time.
Presumably the next day, Wallace tends to Ava and brings her the same food as before, and their relationship improves as Ava realizes he was being sincere on helping her. In the Ever Grey Swamp, Eva, with her lackeys following, walk in search of somebody who would give them the solution on dealing with Ava: Durillia.

- Berserk Button: Zull and Gort are called "poodles" by Balloon, and they do not take a liking to that nickname at all.
- Chase Scene: Balloon is chased by Zull and Gort as she has ahold of the Royal Collar, and Krakia pursues Robbie.
- Dub Name Change: Robbie is known as "Cippy" in the Italian dub.
- Help, I'm Stuck!: Krakia gets her beak stuck in a hole of a tree after chasing Robbie around. Robbie remarks that she’s pretending to be a woodpecker.
- Just Like Robin Hood: Wallace comes back with yet another tray of food to bring to Ava, presumably from the same place as he did in the first part.
- Mood Whiplash: William laughs with Kate, Magic, and the other Royal Guards after Robbie tells them Krakia was “practicing to be a woodpecker,” but then glares back at Eva in the next scene.
- Names to Run Away from Really Fast: Durillia, which makes Zull and Gort wince.
