Following Dr. Sullivan's advice, the Liars try to make the most of their summers while Imogen tries to create a new identity away.
- Always in Class One: All the other Liars are in Section A while Imogen is in Section B the overflow classroom. She asks Dr. Sullivan to ask Principal Smithy change her section so she can at least be with her friends during summer school while she deals with her traumatic grief.Imogen: Not to mention everyone's in section A, except for me, who's in section B. B for blockheads, B for burnouts, B for bummer.
- Bisexual Love Triangle: Noa becomes involved in one with her feelings for Jen, her cellmate in juvie who she had feelings for, and Shawn who's currently her boyfriend.
- Shipper on Deck: The girls make up excuses to head out and leave so Tabby can hang out with Christian and he can walk her home.
