The Bully: Reggie and Junior start picking on Justin for not helping them cheat and then things get worse when the blue ranger tells on them for pulling the fire alarm and giving them detention. Eventually Justin is able to find ground with Reggie and agrees to help tutor him so he doesn’t have to cheat.
Bully Turned Buddy: Reggie finds commonality with Justin over their absent fathers and they seemingly make peace. The jury is still out on Junior, who disappears after the scene in the park.
Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: Miss Appleby vanishes after this episode, though she is mentioned in passing during a later episode this season.
Commonality Connection: When Justin mentions his parents not being around, Reggie is visually floored and admits that his own father has been out of his life for two years. This helps the two break off their antagonism.
Hope Spot: Possibly; a couple of PSA during the Turbo year show that Reggie is still up to no good by offering drugs to students. Whether or not to take these as canon is up for debate.
What Happened to the Mouse?: Junior doesn’t appear again after Justin teleports away to the Power Chamber. Whether he made peace with the boy like Reggie did is not clear.
With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility: Kat calls Justin out for using teleportation to evade Reggie and Junior. Subverted as Justin admits his mistake and, instead of trying to justify his actions, he explains that he doesn't know how to handle the bullies.
