While Shane's disapproving brother Porter visits, the monster Eyezak attacks and makes people experience their worst fears.

- Aloof Older Brother: Porter is a well-to-do executive that looks down on Shane's skateboarding and insists he prepare for his future. Shane ends up glad that Porter found out he's a Ranger, feeling he's finally getting some respect. When Sensei suggests it's not just because of that, Shane acknowledges how he and his brother never really spent that much time together, due to their age difference. Porter admits his greatest fear is Shane being unhappy, and it took him until now to realize that how he leads his own life isn't necessarily the best way for his little brother.
- Batman Gambit: Told to get a Ranger, Motodrone sics Eyezak on Porter to get Shane to show up. Motodrone also exploits Taking the Bullet by having Eyezak try to blast Porter again, knowing Shane will put himself at risk to save his brother.
- Creator Cameo: Director Charlie Haskell plays the man terrified of dogs.
- Deadpan Snarker: When Lothor asks how many Rangers have fallen victim to Eyezak, Motodrone stammers.Vexacus: Love that vocabulary, Motodrone. You and Eyezak go to the same prep school?

- Hypocritical Humor: After Eyesak is destroyed and everyone is free from his nightmares, Marah teases Kapri for being afraid of spiders, only for her to end up scared by Choobo hanging a big toy spider over her, much to his and Kapri's amusement.
- Internal Reveal: Porter finding out that his little brother is the Red Ranger.
- New Powers as the Plot Demands: Sensei has "telepathic ninja powers" in this episode.
- "Not Wearing Pants" Dream: In Shane's nightmare, he is only in his boxers.

- "What Do They Fear?" Episode: Shane's fear is being condemned by his brother, Dustin's is falling, and Tori's is a haircut. Eyezak also first demonstrates his power on Marah and Kapri (being laughed at and spiders, respectively).
