Go To

  • And I Must Scream: The only uncovered part of Victor’s chocolate prison is his right eye. Any screams he make are muffled.
  • Big "WHAT?!": Odious when she realizes the Rangers tricked her into handing over the antidote.
  • Chekhov's Gag: The students in Home Economics are making chocolate sculptures for a charity event, but Hayley and Levi find their efforts keep melting. This experience is what gives Hayley the idea to make chocolate replicas of the Power Stars to trade for the antidote.
  • Engineered Heroics: Aiden helping fight off mooks downtown was all part of the plan to get the Rangers to trust him.
  • Fakin Macguffin: Haley and Levi do this by making chocolate replicas of the Power Stars to trade for the antidote for Brody.
  • Flashback: Aiden when explaining Dane's last appearance, the hiding of the Ninja Steel, and going on the run.
  • Foreshadowing: Aiden's aggressiveness during training hint at his true nature. Him matching Levi move for move is also a subtle hint at the next episode's big reveal.
  • I Gave My Word: Surprisingly, Odious followed through with giving the antidote to Broly's poison like she promised. It's the Rangers that pulled a double-cross.
  • Rewatch Bonus: Aiden's desire to see the Rangers' base and his insistence that the Rangers hand over their Power Stars right away aren't for any good reasons, but because he's really working for Odious.
  • Taken for Granite: Or rather “Taken for Chocolate” as gallons of glue infused chocolate pour all over Victor, leaving him a chocolaty statue. It’s not until the end of the episode he finally gets free.
  • Taking the Bullet: Brody is poisoned because he was shielding Hayley and Levi from the blast.
  • Villain: Exit, Stage Left: Odious is livid about the Rangers deceiving her, but not to the point of facing them personally. She leaves that to Toxitea, while running off herself.
  • Xanatos Gambit: Even though Odious's plan to get the Power Stars failed, she managed to get her spy, Aiden, into the Rangers' confidence.
  • Wham Shot: The end of the episode reveals Aiden is Madame Odious’s spy among the Rangers.
