After Pumpkin uses the toilet at the store, Mr. Cake buys the pull-ups and takes her home. Then, he puts her in one and she likes it a lot, because it's a lot like a diaper but less restrictive. Then, it's revealed that Twilight will be foalsitting the twins the next day. They wonder why that is, since the Cakes aren't even going anywhere.
When Twilight arrives, she has turned into a kangaroo, and the reason why she wants to foalsit the twins is because she wants to take advantage of her pouch while it's there and become a foalsitter for hire. When she goes to where the twins are, they burst out laughing, then she takes them to the park.
While Twilight packs, the twins play with their toys and talk about Twilight's new appearance, noting she looks chubbier and wondering if that's what Mrs. Cake looked like when she was pregnant with them. They set off, and Twilight is a little bit worried at how the citizens would respond, but they barely respond at all.
At the park, Twilight reads, while the twins play in the sandbox, and then both of them need to go to the bathroom at once. Unfortunately, Twilight has forgotten their potties, but she spots an outhouse nearby.
When they get to the outhouse, they are confused at its nonstandard design, and Twilight explains that in the past, ponies used chamber pots in the city and outhouses in the country but now outhouses, while still around, are rare. The twins ask Twilight how she knows, and she is too embarrassed to admit that she became curious after she and Rarity discovered Celestia and Luna's old bathroom.
After the twins conclude their business, Pound jokes to Twilight that she shouldn't forget to use the outhouse herself so that she doesn't make any kangaroo-sized messes, embarrassing Twilight.
