Madison continues to try and get Alex involved in Carol's gang after she successfully hides Madison's phone for her, but Alex doesn't want any part of it. Red is also coaxed onto Carol's side when she mentions that she also wants revenge against Frieda. Nicky tries to help Blanca get pregnant by smuggling in Diablo's sperm but they're interrupted and beaten up by Barb's people at the last minute. Piper blackmails Luschek into reinstating kickball and Daya struggles with her growing drug addiction which leaves her briefly at odds with Daddy.
Taystee is surprised to receive fanmail from those who support her on the outside and agrees to an interview. CO Ward isn't impressed with how Taystee speaks about the guards and withholds any future fanmail from her.
The flashbacks focus on Taystee and CO Ward as teenagers while they work at a fast food restaurant together and it becomes rapidly clear that Taystee was the responsible one while Tamika was the careless one that kept getting them into trouble.
