Too many inmates seem to be getting religion, so a rabbi comes to visit; Leanne tries to organize Norma's followers.
This episode provides examples of the following tropes:
- A Day in the Limelight: This time it goes to Leanne showing that she's a former Amish who got into drugs during her Rumspringa.
- Half-Breed Discrimination: Soso gets this a lot from Leanne for being half-Chinese and half-Scottish.
- If You Cant Beat Em: Since almost everyone is not on the Kosher list except for Sister Ingalls, Black Cindy's idea is now to properly convert to Judaism.
- Not So Above It All: Frieda is highly interested in Susanne's erotic fiction.
- Oh, Crap!: Alex, when she finds Lolly's journal, reads it and realizes Lolly has been keeping track of her.
- Shout-Out: After learning Leanne is Amish, Chang calls her "Harrison Ford in Witness." Leanne, who has apparently seen the movie at some point, shoots back that the movie is highly inaccurate.
- Title Drop: Black Cindy says it after seeing she's not on the Kosher list, she says it after deciding to convert.
