After the Straw Hats reunite and leave Sabaody, Sentomaru puts out an APB to the Marines. Their return is quickly reported in the newspapers and seen by many of the people the crew have encountered in their journey.
- Windmill Village reads it and celebrates. Makino seems to have wed and now has a child. Woop Slap, the Mayor now sporting some gray hair, is as grumpy as ever about the news. Dadan and her band of Mountain Bandits likewise celebrate that Luffy is alright.
- Rika has grown into a young girl and is serving as a waitress at the Shell Town Marine Base.
- Koshiro (Zoro's dojo master and Kuina's father) is visiting Kuina's grave and showing her the news of the Straw Hats.
- In Orange Town, Chou-Chou and Mayor Boodle read the news in front of the newly rebuilt pet shop. There's even a statue of Chou-Chou wearing a straw hat. (Perhaps the matter of the crew not being the ones who destroyed their town was cleared up?)
- Gaimon seems to have found his other half in Sarfunkel, a woman stuck in a barrel. Lucky!
- The Usopp Pirates, having grown significantly, read news of their former captain. Meanwhile, Kaya pursues her career of being a doctor while Merry fends off would-be suitors.
- Yosaku and Johnny are still on Cocoyashi Village and have traded in bounty hunting for being simple fishermen.
- Zeff reads the news as the Baratie has renovations done to the restaurant. Which include a submarine section and an expansion ship modelled after Sanji's wanted poster.
- Nami's family visit Belle-mere's grave and deliver the news. Nojiko having grown much and Genzo not exactly liking Nami's new appearance.
- Ippon-Matsu (the man who sold Zoro his swords in Logue Town) shows his wife a poster of Zoro in his newly clean bathroom.
- Crocus is talking to an unknown person about the Straw Hats' return while Laboon looks on happily from the background.
- Ms. Monday and Mr. 9 are revealed to be still alive after being seemingly killed by Mr. 5. Not only that but the two are now married and have a son of their own.
- Dorry and Brogy are still fighting on Little Garden. Even after two years they still haven't let up.
- On the flip side, Wapol has started his own kingdom, Black Drum Island. What's more he now recognized by the World Nobles. Big surprise there.
- Meanwhile in the former Drum Island, now the Sakura Kingdom. Dalton has trained and made the Lapahn part of the peacekeeping troops. While the Doctors 20 are now the Doctors 100 and have their own medical center headed by Kureha.
- In Alabasta, Koza is now a Royal Minister. Chaka, Pell, and Igaram are getting their clothes fitted for the coming Reverie. Vivi has gotten older and more beautiful. And Cobra likewise has gotten older and came down with a minor sickness, leaving him bed-ridden.
- Cricket and the Saruyama Alliance are back on sea out searching for a new adventure, celebrate that the Straw Hats are alright. While the South Bird has found a mate in the North Bird. They now have children, the West and East Birds
- In Skypiea, the citizens have created a theme park, Rubber Band Land, which is based around the substance of rubber given to them by Usopp, who the people have made a statue of, honoring him. Inside, Nola (the giant snake) and Aisa are working inside as a ride and vender respectively. Laki and Conis have opened a Pumpkin Cafe which McKinley, the White Berets, and Pagaya frequent. Wyper and his fellow Shandians now work as guards for "God". While said "God", Gan Fall, and the Shandian chief are good friends sharing pumpkin juice.
- Tonjit has managed to rejoin his tribe of nomads and reads the news as his grandkids play around him and his horse.
- In Water 7, Chimney has taken the role of the Sea Train station master on Sundays with Gonbe. Kokoro is on vacation underwater with Yokozuna. Mozu and Kiwi have their own bar which Lola and the Risky Brothers are visiting, revealing they got out of the Florian Triangle. Iceburg decided on his new secretary, a young ten year-old girl. The Galley-La Crew celebrate creating a new Sea Train, the Puffing Ice. While the Franky Family oversees operations outside the city.
- Perona visits the ruins of Thriller Bark and finds the body of her once loyal servant, Kumacy.
- On Sabody, Disco, now penniless and destitute, sits by the ruins of the human shop he once ran while stabbing at bounty posters of the Straw Hats, Kid and Law.
- In Impel Down, Hannyabal has become the new warden, while Magellan has taken his position and Domino the chief guard. The Demon Guards gain a new member, Minochihuahua. Sadi-chan has fallen in love with Magellan while Saldeth has... grown. Bon Clay is also revealed to have survived and is now the new queen of Newkama Land.
- Emporio Ivankov reads the news on Kamabakka Kingdom while having tea.
- And finally at the graves of Whitebeard and Ace, someone has delivered the news to their gravestones. Curiously there is a bottle with three sake cups nearby.
