- Asshole Victim: All three victims shot by Karen were involved in some way in her rape, as was Becky Flynn, who Karen didn't personally shoot but seemingly set up.
- Hate Sink: Jake Porter; not only did his rape of Karen set the episode's events in motion, but he's also utterly unrepentant when confronted.
- Karma Houdini Warranty: Jake Porter (the guy who raped Karen Camden) ALMOST gets away with his crimes, since Karen's own crimes mean no one will believe her ... but unfortunately for him it turns out one of his friends was stupid enough to take photos of the incident. Upon being informed of this, Porter promptly tries to run, only to get forced to the ground and arrested.
- The Cameo: Broadway actress Marin Mazzie appears in one scene as a student's mother.
- Smug Snake: Porter is at first utterly confident he'll get away with his crimes.....up until he's shown the photos proving what he did.
