In his disguise as "Snake Jaguar", Zane tries to infiltrate the Sons of Garmadon, while Cole makes an unusual discovery.

- Bequeathed Power: It's finally revealed how Zane, a robot, even got the elemental power after all; the Master of Ice stumbled upon Zane and Julien and passed his power to Zane before dying.
- Brick Joke: The dad trying to show his son a passing ninja, only for the ninja in question to vanish before the kid can look.
- Chekhov's Gun: The lighter one Son is playing around with.
- Cool Bike: Zane's new bike, courtesy of Nya and P.I.X.A.L.
- Door Slams You: Cole manages to defeat Ultra-Violet by letting her run into the door of the baby's cell.
- Dreadful Musician: Cole weaponizes it to irritate the one Son left guarding him into coming over, so Cole can knock him out.
- Exact Words: When Ultra-Violet said she was bringing "Snake" to the "Big Guy", she didn't mean their actual boss. Killow just happens to be their biggest member.
- Eye Lights Out: Zane, badly battered by Mister E, shuts down and his eyes dim.
- Flashback: The episode begins with one to before the events of the series, as Master Wu visits Dr. Julien's hideout the day after Zane received the elemental power of ice.
- Foreshadowing: Ultra-Violet receives a phone call from someone telling her Zane's a spy. The only way someone could know that is if they were in on the plan.
- Letting the Air out of the Band: The soundtrack stops when Cole clobbers Ultra Violet with the door, as if even it's surprised that it worked.
- Living MacGuffin: The Sons have gotten their hands on a baby who they say is the key to the third Oni mask.
- Robotic Reveal: Zane and Mr. E's bikes crash, and as he gets to his feet Zane sees E sparking, as he puts his arm back in.
