MK gets a call from Monkey King while the latter is on vacation, saying that he accidentally knocked over a celestial dumpling, which is currently falling towards earth. Teaming up with Tang, the duo set out to retrieve an artifact from Monkey King’s home that will help save the world.

- Astral Projection: The manner in which Monkey King telepathically communicates with MK at the beginning of the episode to tell him about the dumpling. The manner in which it functions works to make sure MK can’t see what Monkey King is actually doing on his "vacation".
- Forgot About His Powers: When MK and Tang are looking for Guanyin's vase, MK eventually uses his True Sight to locate a crate full of vases. His only defense when Tang demands to know why he didn't try that sooner as that he forgot he could.
- Mood Whiplash: Monkey King cheerfully calls up MK to inform him of the celestial dumpling hurtling towards earth, gives him words of encouragement and hangs up…upon which his smile immediately drops into a frown, and it’s revealed that before speaking with MK, he was in the middle of threatening a group of terrified celestial beings to give him info on Lady Bone Demon.
- Stupid Evil: Discussed when MK and Tang ask the Huntsman why he's even trying to stop them, given that the giant dumpling will wipe out everyone, including him. He quickly concedes the point, leaving on a truce (though it helps he managed to swipe the artifact he was after).
- Wham Shot: Huntsman managed to collect the enchanted mirror, so the girl that is helping the Spider Queen can use it to power the Celestial furnace, but sees the girl's true form in the reflection, albeit briefly.
