Air date: November 3, 2021note

"Butterflies and Bunny Babies":note  Molly and Trini plant a butterfly garden, but it quickly becomes a habitat for a family of snowshoe hares.

"Butterflies and Bunny Babies" contains the following tropes:

  • 555: Dr. Begaye's phone number is 555-0185.
  • Bunnies for Cuteness: Molly and Trini spend most of the episode gushing over the adorable leverets.
  • The Cameo: Dr. Begaye features briefly and instructs Molly and Trini on how to help the leverets after Suki pulls one out of its nest.
  • Empty Nest: Trini gets a taste of parenthood when she watches the grown leverets move out of the garden and into the woods.
  • Good Parents: Walter and Daniel congratulate each other on being in the "dad squad," willing to get up at 2 am with their girls to check on hares.
  • Predation Is Natural: Dr. Begaye reminds the girls that hawks need to eat too, but tells them it's okay to put the leveret back in the nest, since Suki, a pet, disturbed it.

"Every Meow and Again": Molly finds a stray cat and tries to locate its owner.

"Every Meow and Again" contains the following tropes:

  • Answer Cut: When Molly decides to let the cat ride home in her basket, Tooey wonders what Molly's mom will say. The scene cuts to Layla telling Molly they can't keep the cat.
  • Bread, Eggs, Breaded Eggs: Molly and Tooey discuss making rhubarb jelly and rhubarb jam, and Tooey suggests rhubarb jam-jelly.
  • Foreshadowing: Molly and Tooey interrupt Vera's basketball practice to put their first flyer on the hoop post. Tooey gives Vera the signal to continue shooting, but Vera misses her next shot. This is symbolic of Molly "missing the shot" on her first flyer. She later corrects the flyer, with more information and a better picture. When Molly and Tooey post the new flyer and Tooey lets Vera continue shooting, she makes her shot.
  • Imagine Spot: Tooey imagines the cat's trip from Fairbanks to Qyah happened on the back of a salmon.
  • Meaningful Name: Molly names the cat Precious, remembering what her mom said earlier in the episode about all life being precious.
  • Pun-Based Title: A play on the idiom, "every now and again."
  • Speaks Fluent Animal: Tooey thinks he speaks cat. Molly is skeptical.
