Continuing from the ending of "Escape": Milo, Melissa, Zack, Diogee, Dakota, Doofenshmirtz and Cavenpuss locate Cavendish, finally reuniting him and Dakota. However, the Octalians return with a fleet of ships to ensure Milo's abduction and safe arrival to Octalia. The rest of the gang fail to avert the abduction, even with Perry helping out. Now, they have to fix up the crashed spaceship they found Cavendish in, and give chase to the fleet of Octalian ships.
Tropes:
- Call-Back: The carburetor that turns bones into putty from "Parks and Wreck" turns out to be the one thing missing from the crashed spaceship in order to get it working.
- Cliffhanger: The last ship of the Octalian fleet gets a hole punched through by a loose hose, pulling every Octalian towards it, as well as Milo. Cutting back to Melissa and Zack, they spot Milo, floating around in space.
- Crazy-Prepared: Now that they now what Murphy's Law is capable of since last time, the Octalians arrive with six ships, planning to evacuate Milo to the next ship once the current ship is destroyed.
- It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time: The gang needs to put the carburetor back into its intended slot in order for the spaceship to work again, but they cannot carry it because merely touching it will temporarily melt their bones. The solution they chose was to quickly pass the carburetor like a hot potato, with the final person quicky inserting it in its slot. After doing so, and everyone (but Cavenpuss) has become a boneless pile of flash, only then does Zack realize they could've simply used tongs instead.
- Make Room for the New Plot: Okay, not a new plot per se, but the conflict of Doof and Perry, as well as that of Cavendish and Dakota, do need to be resolved before the gang can properly focus on saving Milo:
- Dakota is still mad at Cavendish for going rogue and wiping his memory to leave him all alone. Cavendish states he only did so to protect Dakota, admits he was wrong, and apologizes. Dakota forgives him, although he still owes him a burrito.
- Doofenshmirtz is still very cross that Perry apparently treats their time spent together like a babysitting job issued by O.W.C.A. Perry then reveals all the money he earns from these missions are funded on Doof's path to become Professor Time, and not for Perry himself. Doof instantly forgives him.
- Scenery Porn: Even though Milo is miffed that the Octalians keep kidnapping him without asking, he has to admit that the depths of space look gorgeous.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Loab and Khone are in charge of moving Milo from ship to ship to ship. Khone immediately takes the escape pod to Octalia.
