- Forgot About His Powers: Zedd and Rita want to turn Kelly into a monster. Do they a) simply zap her with one of their wands or b) entrust the job to Finster by giving him a cannon? The answer is the stupid one (though they do wise up and just zap the monkey later).
- Hulk Speak: The Sinister Simian speaks like this.
- Negative Continuity: The Rangers destroying Sinister Simian also killing Kelly doesn’t really hold much water, given that they’ve destroyed other monsters based on living beings before with no negative results.
