With Lord Zedd taking an energy-recharging nap, the Ranger teens are able to take a class vacation to Australia. But this also provides a perfect opportunity for Rita Repulsa to return! Thanks to a youthful makeover and Finster's love potion, Zedd awakens overwhelmed by a desire to make her his queen! Meanwhile, Alpha 5 is corrupted by Finster's virus, shutting up Zordon and sending the Rangers into a trap!

However Rita Repulsa returns from the exile Zedd placed her in at the beginning of the season while he's asleep and replaces the evil energy with a Love Potion to force Zedd to fall in love with her as revenge.
- Evolving Credits: Not in terms of the intro itself, but "John Bosch" and "Steven Cardenas" are properly re-credited as Johnny Yong Bosch and Steve Cardenas.
- From Bad to Worse: The Rangers are surrounded in the theater by monsters. Then they find they can't teleport away or summon their weapons.
