"Carnaval" is the 13th episode of Season 4 of the new Mickey Mouse (2013) series created by Paul Rudish for the Disney Channel and Disney.com. It's the 71st in the series.
Mickey attends the Carnaval in Brazil, but it turns frantic when he must rescue Minnie after her feathered costume takes flight.
Tropes:
- Ass Kicks You: While trying to get to Minnie while she's in the sky, Mickey gets accidentally knocked away by Minnie bumping her rear at him.
- Bait-and-Switch: Humorously subverted. Mickey looks at the Carnaval parade expecting Minnie. Instead there is just an old janitor... Who then points to where Minnie actually is.
- The Cameo: Jose Carioca, Clarabelle Cow, the Penguins from Mary Poppins, the Ostriches from Fantasia and Goofy appear as performers in the Carnaval parade. Goofy is also dressed up as one of the dancers from the "Bahia" dance number.
- Mickey runs into Pete on the beach.
- Ms. Fanservice: Surprisingly enough, Minnie. A large amount of the short is dedicated to Minnie's fat bottom.
