- Ass Shove: When Mickey traps the car, he happily throws the surfboard into the trunk, with the car wincing in response.
- Black Comedy Burst: When Mickey gets horribly injured in one of his attempts to get in the car, he weakly says "Is that you, Walt?"

- Creator Cameo: Paul Rudish voices the car.
- Disguised in Drag: Mickey dresses up as Minnie in an attempt to get into the car; the real Minnie and the car are very unimpressed when she shows up.
- Jerkass Has a Point: The car did NOT want to sit in the hot sun, hence why it was dead-set against the beach. When Mickey realizes this, he allows it to join him in the summer fun.
