"The Adorable Couple" is the eighteenth and final season 1 short of the new Mickey Mouse series created by Paul Rudish for the Disney Channel and Disney.com. It's the 18th to both air on the Disney Channel and put up on Disney.com.
In this special musical short, Mickey and Minnie find Donald and Daisy feeling anything but happy. Now the mice duo must find ways to enlighten the duck pair.
Tropes:
- Animate Inanimate Object: The sun, the flowers and the storm cloud are all living.
- Blank White Eyes: Mickey does this with joy after Minnie suggests singing to Donald and Daisy.
- The Cameo: Goofy, Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar can be seen performing in a band. Donald later bumps into Beast, who was dancing with Belle.
- Catchphrase: After showing Mickey and Minnie how to "properly" fight, Donald finally gets to fire off one of his classics: "Oh boy, oh boy!"

- Mythology Gag: Goofy, Horace and Clarabelle performing in a band is reminiscent to "The Band Concert".

- Personal Rain Cloud: One is above Donald and Daisy. It switches to Mickey and Minnie when they're "fighting". It then goes above both couples with the sun when they're happily insulting each other.
