It's been nine months since the Revengencers' attack on Mordhaus. Charles Foster Offdensen is dead and Dethklok, no longer having the brains to their brawn, are spending money like no tomorrow.

This episode contains the following tropes:

  • Book Ends: The episode starts and ends with Nathan punching Damien Cornickleson in the face.
  • Breaking Old Trends: This season marks the point swears are left uncensored.
  • Broke Episode: The band goes through billions of dollars on novelty projects and renovations that they can't afford to pay the Klokateers, until it's revealed Damien Cornickleson has cut them off. Instead of fine dining, the band is reduced to eating out at convenience stores and fast food joints. Toki works as a male stripper to bring in extra money. The band has to do their own renovations to the house, cut back to cheaper products, dig for change in their couches, and have their possessions taken by the repo men.
  • Capitalism Is Bad: "Crush the Industry" is a song played about the band killing "money" by shooting missiles and lasers at spheres of money, as well as crates of truffles and filet mignon, both which are known to be very expensive foods.
  • Colbert Bump: In-Universe, the band being caught eating at fast food places like "Dimmu Burger", "Tyrant," and "4 inches of Blood" sees a surge of popularity for the chains.
  • Conspicuous Consumption: The band spends their money on wasteful things that sound good on paper but are prohibitively expensive. They make solid crystal concert posters that aren't for sale, scream lighting in every room of the house ($12 million for one room, $88.9 billion for every room); Skwisgaar makes a platinum practice chamber ($6.5 billion), a solid ruby metronome ($8.3 billion) and a champagne humidifier for his guitars ($2 million); Pickles has an endangerd species furniture room ($28 million), with a California condor bottle opener ($5 million), gold plated meerkat shelf holder ($30 million), giant panda throw rugs ($2 billion), giant tortoise ottoman ($1.5 million), silver gazelle wall sconce ($4 million), and Helter stork Tiffany lamp ($6 million). note
  • Faking the Dead: Offdensen faked his death to throw the Tribunal off his trail, even having a public funeral.
  • He's Back!: Offdensen makes his grand return before the band signs away their rights to Cornickleson.
  • Meaningful Echo: Past Offdensen asks "What if I'm not around in the future?" as clips from the previous episode show his brutal beatdown by the Metal Masked Assassin.
  • Mundane Made Awesome: Nathan comes up with scream-activated lighting. One room installation costs $12 million dollars. It's put into every room of the house, jumping the price to $89.9 billion dollars.
  • Oh, No... Not Again!: Toki says the trope word for word when the people they let out of Mordhaus fall to their death. The band forgot the house is in Flight Mode.
  • Really Dead Montage: To Offdensen at the start of the episode complete with an In Memoriam...except he comes back later! Although Double Subverted later when he's confirmed to have actually died back there meaning it was technically not a lie.
  • Right Now Montage: Skwisgaar wonders what happened to the Klokateers who were let go after their checks bounced. They're shown holding signs for work ("Will roadie for food."), getting in soup lines, waiting for jobs at hardware stores, mugging people, robbing stores, washing windshields and donating sperm.
  • Screwed by the Lawyers: Invoked in-universe. Damien Cornickleson, still holding a grudge from Nathan punching him in the face years ago, has a new contract written so Dethklok signs away all exclusivity and Cornickleson recoups every dollar the band ever spent.
  • Shockingly Expensive Bill: The band is already bleeding money after getting their funds cut off, but Murderface turns the living room into a desert theme, figuratively and literally. Only Nathan sees how much it costs, prompting him to have an Oh, Crap! reaction.
  • Shout-Out: The fast food joints the band are caught eating at are Dimmu Burger, Tyrant, and 4 inches of Blood.
  • Smart People Wear Glasses: Nathan is seen wearing glasses going over the band's finances, when he realizes that in order for Dethklok to get by, they really need to cut back on expenses. Fittingly, he's sitting in Offdensen's old office during that scene.
  • Technology Marches On: Invoked. The band go to a record store to try and make sense of their contract. The manager announces the store, and all chains, are immediately shutting down and to enjoy downloading MP3s online.
  • Teeth Flying: In both instances of being punched out by Nathan, Damien Cornickleson loses a tooth.
  • Vanity Project: Dethklok blows their money on such projects like sunglasses for kittens, a "Super Tits Candy Snake" project they never completed or defined, and 90 acres of land and corn silos are turned into Cool Ranch Doritos dispensers that are only for them.
  • Vomit Chain Reaction: The reconstruction noise makes a hungover Pickles throw up on a naked groupie. She and her friend barf on him in turn.
