Ever since their establishment in 2002, Manga Time Kirara has become best known for creating some of the most popular Moe manga and anime of the 21st century, and as result, has published many franchises over the decades. Enter the recap of the Manga Time Kirara pantheon from their humble roots to present day, and their 37 (and plus a few) anime adaptations.

Anime Adaptations:

    Franchises 
  • Hidamari Sketch (2007): The first anime adaptation of a Manga Time Kirara manga, produced by Studio Shaft. A young conscientious artist is accepted into her dream art school after years of longing for it, and begins to make friends with several other aspiring artists living in the same apartment complex, as they attend classes together while trying to understand what art is.
    • Hidamari Sketch x 365 (2008): The second season, with an increased budget in animation.
    • Hidamari Sketch X Hoshimittsu (2010): The third season, introducing a few new members to the Hidamari Apartments.
    • Hidamari Sketch × SP (2011): A series of specials outside the main seasons.
    • Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb (2012): The fourth and final season, focusing on the impending graduation and growing up everyone must deal with.
    • Hidamari Sketch: Sae/Hiro Graduation Edition (2013): An Original Video Animation that serves as the ending to the anime, where Sae and Hiro finally graduate.
  • K-On! (2009): A group of high school girls form a guitar band, after their school's club is on the verge of disbanding, where they learn how to play and enjoy their school lives together with the goal to play songs on stage live. Arguably the most iconic series of the Kirara family, as it was produced by the famous Kyoto Animation.
    • K-On!! (2010): A sequel to the anime, composed of double the amount of episodes.
    • K-on! The Movie (2011): A Grand Finale movie to the anime, acting as an original ending.
  • Puella Magi Madoka Magica (2011): A regular middle school girl with a great amount of friends and family is given the chance to become a magical girl by a cat-like creature to fight witches and evil. A case of Be Careful What You Wish For to the extreme. Produced by Studio Shaft. note

  • Kiniro Mosaic (2013): Formerly living in England, a happy-go-lucky girl receives a letter from her best friend that she is coming to live with her and attend high school together, where they learn about various cultures outside what they're familiar with. Produced by Studio Gokumi.
  • Is the Order a Rabbit? (2014): Arriving to a new European-like town, a young girl stumbles across a cafe which she mistakes as a rabbit residence. Meeting with the granddaughter of the cafe, she joins as a waitress and lives a fun life as one of the many inhabitants of the Rabbit House. Produced by White Fox.
    • Is The Order a Rabbit?? (2015): The first sequel to the anime. Produced again by White Fox.
    • Is The Order a Rabbit? Bloom (2020): The second sequel to the anime. Produced by Encourage Films.
  • New Game! (2016): Graduating out of high school, an inspired character designer begins to work for a nearby video game developer. As she develops her skills, she begins to form friendships with her coworkers, while she begins work for a sequel to a game she holds near and dear to her heart.
    • New Game!! (2017): The sequel to the anime.
  • Laid-Back Camp (2018): A quiet girl enjoys camping, but when she meets an energetic girl, the two begin traversing across the country to visit various campsites with their friends. Produced by C-Station.
    • Laid Back Camp 2 (2021): The second installment of the anime.
    • Laid Back Camp Movie (2022): Set a decade following the events of the series, the girls have now grown up, but reunite to construct a new campsite.
    • Laid Back Camp 3 (2024): The third installment, this time, produced by Eight Bit.
  • The Demon Girl Next Door (2019): One day, a poor high school girl awakens as a demon girl, discovering her heritage as the descendant of a dark clan. Ready to defeat her town's magical girl to destroy her family's curse, the two girls form an unlikely friendship with each other and try to solve the mysteries of their respective clans. Produced by J.C. Staff.
    • The Demon Girl Next Door 2-Chōme (2022): The second season to the anime, once again produced by J.C. Staff.
  • Bocchi the Rock! (2022): A shy, socially awkward guitarist dreams of being a great musician despite her fears and doubts. After a chance encounter with the drummer of a newly created band also looking to make it big, she is given the opportunity to become their leader, which spirals into a journey of growing out of her shell and finding the courage to be great at music.   • Doujin Work (2007): Becoming interested in turning into an dojin artist following a convention experience, a young girl ventures out through multiple conventions to meet new friends and people, where she desires to become a beloved dojin artist herself. Produced by Remic.
  • Kanamemo (2009): After the recent deaths of her parents and grandmother, a shy middle school orphan runs away into the real world and finds a job at a local newspaper delivery office, where she is surrounded by an environment of unique individuals as she longs for a new home. Produced by Feel.
  • GA: Geijutsuka Art Design Class (2009): In a high-school arts program, a team of five ambitious artists, lead by a clumsy yet kind lover of patels and painting, begin to study and learn the wonderful world of art in a more educational fashion. Produced by AIC.
  • Dream Eater Merry (2011): A young man has the strange power to see other peoples' dreams, yet is surrounded by nightmares himself. Meanwhile, a mysterious girl, known as a dream eater, finds a way inside his realm, and is desperate to get back to the world of dreams herself. Produced by J.C. Staff.
  • A Channel (2011): An ordinary, yet comedic look into the lives of a freshman and her three second year friends that involves everything about what high school represents. Produced by Studio Gokumi as their inaugural production.
  • Kill Me Baby (2012): An foreign assassin and an average school girl form an odd friendship that involves recurring cases of never-ending violence. Produced by J.C. Staff.
  • Place to Place (2012): A cold-hearted girl and a kind-hearted boy are good friends, yet never have the desire to become the couple that fate want them to become. Hilarity ensues when their friendship begins to blossom into a beautiful romance. Produced by AIC.
  • Yuyushiki (2013): Forming the Data Processing Club under one roof, three high school girls have a similar sense of wacky humor despite their different personalities, and make their friendship more lively then mudane. Produced by Kinema Citrus.
  • Sakura Trick (2014): Two best friends were inseparable during their middle school years, but find themselves far apart upon entering high school, where they each meet a new host of friends. The solution? Form a relationship by kissing each other in secret. Produced by Studio DEEN.
  • Ha Na Ya Ma Ta (2014): Attending an ordinary middle school, a bashful girl, who considers herself boring from a lack of strong interests, suddenly discovers a lovely fairy girl at night, and due to her love of fairy tales, becomes interested in knowing more about her world, only to find out that it may not be what she was expecting.   • Gourmet Girl Graffiti (2015): Following the death of her grandmother, an orphan sophomore lives by herself, yet has a talent for cooking. When her cousin arrives to attend cram school, she becomes encouraged to cook more food and eat with her friends and family to enjoy the experience together. Produced by Studio Shaft.
  • Castle Town Dandelion (2015): Among a royal family in a suburban residence, the nine children of the king and queen are nominated as successors to their bloodline through an election that will determine their fates. However, one of the daughters, a timid girl with the power to control gravity, is afraid of all the attention she is getting due to her whole life being broadcast on television, and becomes motivated to destroy the recordings if she must become queen.   • Wakaba Girl (2015): A sheltered rich girl finds herself starting high school with the desire to finally make proper friends and turn over a new leaf after years of ongoing loneliness. Produced by Nexus. note 
  • School-Live! (2015): Within a normal high school club, a bright and cheerful girl spends her time performing fun activities with her friends and enjoying life together. In reality, her world has been turned upside down from an ongoing zombie outbreak, even if she doesn't want to believe it and rather live in denial. With the few survivors of her school, a team of four girls must survive the apocalypse that is slowly taking what little is left of everything and everyone from them. Produced by Creator/Lerche.
  • Anne Happy (2016): In an elite academy of the highest prestigious order, a class of 'unfortunate' girls must prevail over their own terrible, unlucky luck to get their happiness and overcome their misfortune together. Produced by SILVER LINK..
  • Three Leaves, Three Colors (2016): A trio of high school girls, all of whom have a kanji (leaf) in their respective names, have their personalities clash with each other in the midst of attending high school together and figuring out what's similar and different about each other.   • Magic of Stella (2016): Looking to produce doujinshi games, a promising illustrator joins her high school's video game club, where they look to create their own video games. Produced by SILVER LINK..
  • Urara Meirochou (2017): Venturing into town to become one of its notable fortune-tellers, a Wild Child raised in the wilderness filled with animals is looking to find her missing mother, and wishes to be among the highest rank as such. Produced by J.C. Staff.
  • Blend-S (2017): In the hopes of finding a part-time job to become independent and afford studying abroad, a sadistic girl has trouble getting a job due to her unconventional appearance and smiles. As luck would have it, she is recruited by an Italian cafe manager to be one of his many waitresses with unique personalities, and conjures up an effort to stand out to the crowd.   • Slow Start (2018): Initially being unable to enter high school due to a bad case of mumps, a worrisome girl has her high school life delayed from missing her exams and finds herself as the oldest of her class when she arrives, where she must build the courage to be successful despite her slow start. Produced by CloverWorks, notable for being credited as its first anime production.
  • Comic Girls (2018): Beginning her career during her freshman year, an up-and-coming yonkoma manga artist discovers her manga is ranked dead last of a reader survey, which convinces her editor to move into a dormitory designed for manga artists. Together with her roommates, she faces the tribals and troubles of what life is like working in the manga industry, while attempting to improve her skills. Produced by Nexus.
  • Harukana Receive (2018): Having a complex issue when it comes to her tall height, and with her cousin having similar issues due to her own small size, two girls begin to question their interest for volleyball, only to form a volleyball club to rekindle their love for it. Produced by C2C.
  • Anima Yell! (2018): Always wanting to help people, a peppy girl starts up her own cheerleading club upon entering high school, expect for one problem; she has no experience in the sport herself and has no idea how to do any of it. She comes into contact with a former cheerleader, and seeks out the help she needs to successfully start up their club. Produced by Doga Kobo.
  • Asteroid in Love (2020): Joining her school's earth science club due to a childhood promise with a girl she hasn't seen since, a girl fascinated in the language of astronomy reunites with her long lost friend and with their club members, they begin their plan to find an asteroid through a series of astronomical activities. Produced by Doga Kobo.
  • Tamayomi (2020): A former lover of baseball starts her first year of high school, where she tries to avoid the sport due to quitting her interest in the subject. By chance, she stumbles across her best friend, and decides to reconnect to fulfill their childhood promise of playing baseball together, now with the goal to win the incoming national championships.   • Dropout Idol Fruit Tart (2020): An aspiring idol travels to Tokyo to fulfill her dreams, but quickly discovers that the dormitory she has moved in is on the verge of being torn down. As a result, she forms an idol group with her new friends to prevent losing her newfound home. Produced by Feel.
  • Slow Loop (2022): Taught by her father in her childhood, a young angler begins to enjoy the experiences of visiting the seaside and the wonder of fishing, even after her dad's sudden death. One day, her mother is remarried to the father of an energetic girl, who lost her own mom. As the two girls become step-sisters and begin to know each other's somber past, they engage in fishing together, where they form a strong sisterly bond together. Produced by Connect.
  • RPG Real Estate (2022): In the aftermath of this world's dark lord being defeated, the everyday lives of the kingdom's residents are struggling to find the essentials for their homes. A group of four magical individuals form their own service to fulfill the needs of their customers. Produced by Doga Kobo.
  • Stardust Telepath (2023): A shy, anxious high school freshman dreams of traveling to the stars above her home, but can't quite bring herself out of her own insecurities. When she meets a mysterious alien girl who is lost without her memories, the two begin to form a friendship in the hopes of leaving Earth behind by creating a rocketship club alongside their kindhearted vice-class representative and a jaded engineer, with similar aspirations and desires. Produced by Studio Gokumi.
  • Mono (TBD): Set in the same universe as it's sister series, this story follows a different set of girls away from camping, this time centering on a trio of high schools girls and their friends who are apart of the Cinephoto club (which combines both photo club + cinema) that travel across Japan to take photos of the country's tourist spots for what can best be described as an Iyashikei manga. Produced by Soigne as their first anime.
