ADA Stone is accused of assault by a woman (Alexandra Breckenridge), forcing SVU to take sides and for his integrity to be put into question. At the same time, they must takes another, separate case to trial in which a woman claims she was raped at a party by a man who retained the skills of a highly competent defense attorney. Meanwhile, Pollack makes a proposal to Rollins, which leaves her with mixed feelings about the whole thing suggested to her.

- Better Partner Assertion: A subtle example. Rollins tells Carisi about Al's idea that they move in together, and he is unimpressed. He tells her she deserves to be taken care of. When Amanda insists that Al does take care of her, he says there's a difference between "flowers and fancy-ass dinners and being taken care of." He ends the conversation by telling her he's going to get her a ginger ale to help with the indigestions she's been having after eating.
