A young couple linked to a Mexican drug cartel is found murdered in a truck, and the FBI soon interferes when the SVU digs too deep into one of Agent Porter's ongoing cases.

- Everyone Has Standards: The two robbers in the beginning broke into a truck. When they see two bodies in there the first reaction of one of them is to call the cops. Even though they ended up running away, it's implied he still made an anonymous 911 call shortly after.
- Karma Houdini: SVU are forced to release Terri and Porter because the case is out of their hands and it's implied that they will face no punishment from the CIA.
- Not Her Blood: When Rojas gets shot while holding Olivia hostage, some of his blood splatters onto Olivia's clothes. Olivia was quick to tell Elliot that the blood is not hers.
