When the Jewish president of a college is brutally stabbed to death, the detectives' efforts to bring the killer to justice are complicated by the subsequent murder of a witness and the revelation that the killer's mentor may have manipulated him into committing the crime.
- Asshole Victim: Chloe, who spends most of her screen time advocating against Israel (and may have helped Cam murder Alpert) is gunned down by Klein.
- Downer Ending: Nasser is acquitted even as Cam is convicted, Chloe and Klein are both killed, and as the post-verdict fistfight demonstrates, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will continue to violently rage.
