Go To

The trial of a man who assassinated a United States Senator becomes complicated when McCoy's daughter Rebecca agrees to defend the assassin.

  • Assassination Attempt: Quinn kills Chandler because Chandler refused to support gun control.
  • Call-Back: Maroun nots that Price has empathy for the defendant in part because of the horrific subway shooting he saw in the earlier episode Camouflage.
  • Entitled Bitch: Jack's daughter tries to get him to grant leniency by playing on his emotions, regardless of the fact that ignoring the law at the behest of a family member would make him a Corrupt Politician. When he refuses she continually tries to emotionally blackmail him, until he eventually relents and offers a plea bargain far more lenient than the defendant deserves, which she rejects because it isn't lenient enough. When she loses, she doesn't blame herself for not jumping on the generous plea offer, she acts like prosecuting her client made Jack a bad father, even though he was fulfilling his duty as a public servant.
  • Fallen Hero: As a teacher, Quinn heroically tackled a school shooter and saved countless lives. Then he murdered a senator who didn't support gun control.
