Tropes:

• Bear Hug: Yumyan hugs Asher, Dahlia, and Troy at the same time when he accepts them into his tribe.
• "Could Have Avoided This!" Plot: Wolf and Benson go through the trouble of teaching the burrow kids to swing an axe because they're not convinced the Timbercats will take them unless they can prove themselves. It turns out the Timbercats are entirely willing to shelter them simply because they're Kipo's friends.
• Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Kipo decides to challenge a bunch of Scarlemagne's monkey mooks so she and Lio could steal again their flamingos. Her overconfidence bites her in the back, when her father is captured again and she is forced to retreat.
• No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: Scarlemagne utterly destroys Ratland as both an example that there will be no mercy to anyone who dares to harbor humans, and to gather material for his future city.
• No-Sell: Kipo is immune to Scarlemagne's pheromones thanks to her mute half, which is jaguar.
• Papa Wolf: Lio yells at Dave to fly Kipo to safety while he stays behind, putting his daughter's safety over his own.
• Percussive Therapy: Dahlia is having too much fun at cutting a tree with an axe. Asher just tells the group to let her be for awhile since she had a very rough day.
• Post-Kiss Catatonia: It takes awhile for Benson to snap out of it after being kissed on the cheek by Troy.
• Primal Chest-Pound: Gerard pounds his chest before charging at Kipo, even though he's an orangutan, not a gorilla.
• Snot Bubble: Pierre the Mega Flea has a snot bubble in his left nostril while fast asleep in the Mega Dog valley.
• We Are Not Going Through That Again: When Benson suggests to the Timbercats that Troy can make pancakes for them, they react in disgust because of what happened last time. Benson promises this won't happen again.
