The Kiryuin put their plan into action during Honnouji Academy's Sports Festival as Ryuko and Nudist Beach race to stop them.

- Badass Family: The Mankanshokus interrupt their future son-in-law's public speech by demanding to know what happened to their daughter while formally introducing themselves.
- Body Paint: Mataro sold his tuxedo for quick cash and painted his body black and white.
- Good All Along: Satsuki and the Elite Four weren't helping Ragyo, they were against her the whole time.
- Guilt by Association Gag: Gamagori threatens to punish the Mankanshoku Family as their daughter committed treason during the Field Trip Invasion. But he decides to spare them if they participate in the upcoming Sports Festival.
- In the Back: Satsuki does this while Ragyo is monologuing to Ryuko.
- Internal Reveal: Aikuro explains to Ryuko that Tsumugu is a jerk because his sister was fridged by Life Fibers.
- Meaningful Echo: During her grand backstabbing, Satsuki berates her for being a "pig who fawns over human clothing".
- Mood Whiplash: Tsumugu looks dead-ready to beat up a minor while Ryuko declares that she doesn't mind fighting naked. Then Mako interrupts the fight with a Hallelujah moment on why she shouldn't bare her body for anyone.

- Sharp-Dressed Man/Simple, yet Opulent: Those who are invited to the Sports Festival ceremony are given beautiful tuxedos and evening gowns to wear as part of the dress code. In truth the suits are Life Fibers who are programmed to consume the human hosts when the festivities commence.
- Spanner in the Works: Downplayed. Mataro sold his designated suit before the ceremony meaning that he isn't consumed by it like his parents. That said, he doesn't do much since he is a little kid who's taken by surprise with the sudden development.
- Wham Episode: Satsuki stabs Ragyo from behind and reveals the true reason for Honnouji Academy was to fight against Raygo and her Life Fibers.
