Pin and Dokko are working on their latest machine. Rosa was awakened by the noise it produces and approaches the two for explanation. Suddenly, the device stops and gives out a stick plastered with dirt. Dokko explains that this is a Roman candle and now they will have fireworks. He tries to light it, but it doesn't burn. Pin is upset because he did everything according to the instructions. Then Dokko explains to him that fireworks should be as majestic as a meteor shower, and as magical as shooting stars.
Inspired by the speech, Pin has been working on a new device for several days. Finally, the new working Roman candle is ready. Pin looks gratefully into the sky, only to see a meteorite fall and destroy his machine.
While Dokko is enthusiastic about a meteorite, Pin is completely broken. Dokko asks him to make a new one, but Pin refuses, since a meteorite can fall at any moment and break everything. Rosa comes up and asks penguin to fix her watch. Pin refuses that as well and goes to the hangar. Dokko tries to calm him down, but only enrages his friend even further. Desperate, Pin strikes the meteorite with a rebar. Suddenly, beautiful sparks burst into the sky out of the meteorite. Pin realizes that he was given the fireworks he needed so much.
Tropes:
- Bowdlerize: In the original Russian version, Pin refers to God several times. The English dub removed all references to religion, replacing them with "lucky stars".
- Came from the Sky: A meteorite arrives from the sky and falls directly on Roman candle-producing machine.
- Heroic BSoD: Pin goes through one after the destruction of his machine. He gets better after learning that a meter can create a fireworks of its own.
- Magic Meteor: The meteorite has the ability to emit beautiful sparks.
- Smite Me, O Mighty Smiter: Throughout the episode, Pin repeatedly thanks or scolds Heaven.
