Tsumuri: Having obtained the power to crush all Kamen Riders, Buffa rampages on in his ideal world.
In the midst of his battle to discontinue the DGP, Geats makes a miraculous return, despite having been erased!
However...

Ace has returned to everyone's shock, but this time around he declares he will dismantle the DGP to save his mother. With the two rivals sharing the same goal, Sueru officially sanctions the Desire Royale with the winner getting to decide the fate of the DGP.

Meanwhile, with Keiwa still missing, Kekera begins to search for a way to retrieve his Rider, while Sara gets involved in the game...

Tropes

  • All for Nothing: Sara entered the Desire Royale so Keiwa wouldn't have to, only for Keiwa to end up joining it anyway.
  • Apple of Discord: The fact that Keiwa isn't aware of Mitsume's true status means he and Ace are at odds with each other, with Keiwa blaming the Goddess of Creation for inflicting suffering upon humanity while Ace is adamant that his mother has done no wrong and was forced into doing so. Similarly, Neon's desire to be an Un-person causes her to need the DGP, putting her at odds with Ace who wants it gone.
  • Back for the Dead: Chirami's return as Glare2 turned out to be this trope.
  • Back from the Dead: Keiwa was brought back to the world thanks to Kekera's bargaining with Beroba.
  • Bad Guys Do the Dirty Work: While Ace disarms Chirami to the point of being unable to fight back, it's Michinaga that deals the finishing blow.
  • Batman Gambit: Kekera intentionally put Sara into danger in order to provoke Keiwa into entering the Desire Royale as well, which also allows the latter to regain his memories.
  • Big Damn Heroes:
    • Before Daichi can land the killing blow on Sara, a returning Keiwa interferes and attacks him.
    • Ace later does this as Michinaga is about to attack Sara, Keiwa, and Neon, distracting him long enough for them to escape.
  • The Bus Came Back: Daichi and Neon return as Nadge-Sparrow and Na-Go respectively, along with Kekera's human form. Keiwa also finally returns.
  • Call-Back:
    • The newly revived and amnesiac Keiwa goes back to gambling like he did in #10 and #11.
    • Ace brings up the time he ate soba with Keiwa, Neon, and Sara in #7 as an excuse for rescuing the three.
    • A shot of Movie Battle Royale is shown as Ace remembers the previous iteration of the Desire Royale; Ouja is prominently in the shot.
    • Ace calls Tsumuri his elder sister again, calling back to how she has been made his "family" ever since the Scheme arc.
  • Catapult Nightmare: Sara has one where she dreams about Keiwa leaving her.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Obviously, Sara didn't stand a chance of fighting Daichi.
  • Dream Reality Check: Sara pinches herself to make sure she's not dreaming after seeing Keiwa in their kitchen, looking none the worse for wear.
  • Enemy Mine: With their goals aligned, Ace decides to help Michinaga eliminate Chirami.
  • Killed Off for Real: Chirami's death at the hands of Ace and Michinaga is revealed to be this trope, as his actor has been given the traditional flower bouquet treatment.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: Nadge-Sparrow decides to flee after Buffa arrives on the scene.
  • Never Trust a Trailer: #34's preview has Keiwa saying goodbye to Sara, implying his incoming death or possibly a Faceā€“Heel Turn. It turns out to simply be a nightmare of Sara's.
  • Revenge by Proxy: Daichi beats up Sara as revenge for his humiliation at the hands of her brother and his subsequent elimination during the "Divergence" arc.
  • Rule of Symbolism: To showcase everyone's allegiance, the new opening shows Ace and Michinaga in normal outfits in contrast to everyone else wearing DGP uniforms. Also, Ace now has a serious expression on his face while past openings have him smirking.
  • Un-person: The revelations about Neon's past is long-lasting enough that it seeps into her new wish, a world where she's not remembered.
