Written by Yuya Takahashi
Directed by Shojiro Nakazawa

Gamedeus Cronus changed his appearance in order to become the world's most lethal death game! He enlarged his body and became the strongest Last Boss! The Gamedeus Virus expanded and the pandemic has gotten worse! The Gamedeus Virus can now be transferred from person to person. Two Bugsters witnessed this symptom, Parado and Poppy Pipopapo. "There is something that only us Bugsters can do..." Poppy said as she rushes to Ex-Aid.

Tropes:

  • Accidental Murder: Build puts just a little too much force into one of his attacks and ends up killing off one of Kuroto’s extra lives.
  • Bittersweet Ending: The Gamedeus pandemic is cured and Gamedeus himself has been destroyed so Cronus can't try to pull this stunt again. But Masamune can still become Cronus and thanks to Parado's sacrifice, there's no Muteki Gamer to keep him from abusing his old tricks.
  • Book Ends:
    • Fitting that this episode has the Riders use Level 1 on a Bugster Union type monster similar to how Ex-Aid fought one in his first battle. Bonus points for Ex-Aid using the same opening move he used against the first Union monster.
    • Kamen Rider Genm fighting against Build also feels this way since Gemn himself made a similar appearance in the penultimate episode of Kamen Rider Ghost.
  • Brought Down to Badass: Gamedeus has been eliminated, so there's no way for Cronus to be Gamedeus Cronus. Unfortunately, he's still Cronus, and without the Muteki Gamer to oppose him.
  • The Bus Came Back: After several episodes, the Riders bring back their Level 1 forms for the fight against Super Gamedeus.
  • Chekhov's Gun: From way back in the beginning, Asuna told Emu that Level 1 forms are required to separate the patient from the Bugster Union Virus. Because Gamedeus Cronus is a fusion between Masamune (a human) and Gamedeus (a Bugster), this means that Level 1 has become a critical weakness for the monster.
  • Cherry Tapping: The Riders unintentionally invoke this when they decide to use Level 1, their weakest forms and attacks, against Super Gamedeus, the True Final Boss.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: Kamen Rider Build makes his first TV appearance, trying to defeat Kamen Rider Gemn (mistaking him for Ex-Aid) to sample his essence for a Fullbottle. Once he realizes his mistake, he leaves.
  • Foregone Conclusion: Both Poppy and Parado are guaranteed to return just in time for the True Ending movie, as their deaths won't stick for too long. Being Bugsters may also count as this.
  • Foreshadowing: Compared to other Riders’ Early-Bird Cameo debuts in their predecessors’ shows, Build’s appearance here does have implications for his own story, one of which is that his behavior to Kuroto is practically Affably Evil rather than the more traditionally heroic figure Sento tries to be.
  • Heroic Sacrifice:
    • Poppy/Asuna injects herself with the Doctor Mighty XX Gashat and cures everyone infected with Gamedeus virus, at the cost of her own life.
    • Similarly, Parado uses the Doctor Mighty XX Gashat as well to finally destroy Gamedeus at the cost of his own life. It also counts as Redemption Equals Death for him.
  • Laughing Mad: Emu chuckles nervously as he is trying to wrap his mind around Poppy's decision to sacrifice herself.
  • Lethal Joke Character: Not that the Level 1 forms haven't been useful in the past, but they've been heavily overshadowed by more powerful forms the riders have gained (that and there hasn't been any Bugster Union monsters in a long while). However, the five Kamen Riders go into Level 1 to take down Gamedeus Cronus in his final form. And it works!
  • Zombie Apocalypse: Essentially what Super Gamedeus's pandemic does, turning people into mindless Bugster mooks dead set on turning everyone around them into more Bugster mooks by infecting them as well. Poppy sacrifices herself to cure it.

    Gashat Count: Ex-Aid: 10 Brave: 5 Snipe: 4 Lazer: 10 Genm: 3 Para-DX: 1 (Continue?) Poppy: 1 (Continue?) Nico: 1 Cronus: 1
    Genm's Continues Left: 3
