Sento: Kamen Rider Build, the ‘brilliant’ physicist Kiryu Sento, is shocked to find he is the founder of the evil organization Faust, Katsuragi Takumi. Not a long after, a war begins with Hokuto. Sento has resolved to fight, in order to protect Touto.

Gentoku: I see. So you've made your decision, then.

Sento:Whoa, Gentoku...

Gentoku:Call me Prime Minister Himuro. The time has come for Touto's counterattack. We'll crush Hokuto!

Sento:When you put it that way, maybe I should reconsider...

Gentoku:Then I wouldn't put it that way.

Sento:You're so fickle! Now, what'll happen on Episode 18?

• Anti-Villain: The Hokuto Three Crows claim part of their motivations in fighting for Hokuto's army is in order to benefit and support their families. Kazumi even goes on tv and tells the Touto citizens that they won't harm innocents as long as they don't get involved in the battlefield. He also warns Yoshiko that sending Smash to attack random people is not right.
• Blood Knight: Sento reveals that prolonged use of the Sclash Driver would result in the user sustaining more exposure to the Nebula Gas and becoming more aggressive. On the other hand, Kazumi loves fighting and wants to have a battle of excitement and joy to him.
• Cruel to Be Kind: On the surface, Sento refuses to let Ryuga use the Sclash Driver he wants to be the hero. In reality, he knows the risks of what the driver can do to a person.
• Curb Stomp Cushion: Ryuga fares better in his fight with Kazumi during the climax of their Rider battle, but Kazumi ultimately overwhelms him thanks to more experience with the system and the Twin Breaker.
• Death Seeker: Ryuga claims since no one cares if he dies, he can fight without worry or complaints. Sento does not take that lightly.
• The Bus Came Back: Nariaki Utsumi returns at the end of the episode after his apparent demise in episode 12.
• Exact Words: When Sento asks Soichi about his true intentions, he claims that his only motivations is to see him and Ryuga grow.
• Foreshadowing: According to the preview Soichi, as Stalk will give Sento the Hazard Trigger. He calls it a forbidden item.
• Morality Pet: Played With. Kazumi lets Misora live twice after she helps save Sento and Ryuga because he remembers her....as Mii-Tan!
• Not in This for Your Revolution: Sento puts on the bracelet and decides to work with Gentoku, but only to protect Touto rather than a machine of war. Gentoku doesn't care about his justifications at all.
• The Reveal: Soichi had the Sclash Driver built by Nanba Heavy Industries.
  • Nariaki Utsumi is alive, meeting Gentoku at Nanba Heavy Industries.
• Victor Gains Loser's Powers: Sento uses the bottles he gained from the Hokuto Crows to use the PhoenixRobo and SmaphoWolf Best Matches. He defeats Aoba and Kiba using them, but loses them after he takes a Rider Kick meant to kill Ryuga.
• Wham Shot: Gentoku comes to Nanba's office to talk to him about Hokuto using a Sclash Driver and faces Utsumi instead.
