Kaeloo's Brutal Honesty makes her accidentally offend everyone around her except Mr. Cat, who offers to teach her how to lie so she can maintain a good social life.
"Let's Play the School of Lies" contains the following tropes:
- Alien Abduction: Pretty gets abducted by aliens offscreen and Stumpy has to rescue her.
- Brutal Honesty: Kaeloo tells Stumpy that a drawing he made is ugly and Pretty that she thinks her new bag is "tacky".
- Continuity Nod: As seen in Episode 133, Kaeloo's lack of proper social skills is straining her friendship with everyone except Mr. Cat, who is trying his best to make sure she doesn't wind up with no friends (besides him).
- Everyone Went to School Together: A flashback shows the main four at school in the same class, despite the fact that other episodes have established that Kaeloo and Mr. Cat are older than the other two.
- Flashback: A flashback is shown of Kaeloo, Stumpy, Quack Quack and Mr. Cat as toddlers.
- Smooch of Victory: Stumpy saves Pretty from some aliens offscreen and she rewards him with a kiss on the lips.
