Ryomen Sukuna
Yuji Itadori is a student who excels in using his physical gifts in school sports. Instead, he'd rather hang out with his friends in the Occult Research Club. One day he crosses paths with Megumi Fushiguro, a jujutsu sorcerer from Tokyo Jujutsu High.

- Badass Normal: Before consuming Sukuna's finger, Yuji is strong and athletic enough to casually shatter world records in both sprinting and throw. No wonder every club in his school wanted him as a member.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Satoru Gojo, summoned by Fushiguro quickly beats the crap out of a one-finger-powered Sukuna in under 10 seconds, without even trying too hard. That said, it's also made clear than if it had been any other sorcerer who showed up, Sukuna would have been a major threat against them, even weakened and with Yuji able to control his possession over his body.
- Establishing Character Moment: Sukuna quickly establishes himself as evil incarnate as his first words on-screen are to murder women and children.
- In Medias Res: The arc begins with Itadori sentenced to death.
- No-Sell: Yuji quickly regains control from Sukuna.
- Undying Loyalty: Yuji towards the Occult Club.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Setsuko unsealing the cursed finger (actually Sukuna's) summons the dormant curses present in the school to swarm them, including a particularly strong Tick curse that overwhelms Megumi with a sneak attack when he and Yuji appear to have rescued them. Unable to beat the curse on his own without being able to manifest Cursed Energy, and with Megumi to injured to fight for flee, Yuri gets the idea to eat the finger to forcible imbue himself with Cursed Energy to defeat the monster, manifesting Sukuna within himself and reawakening his insane lust for carnage after centuries.
