Blinding Darkness
This arc follows Yuta Okkotsu as he enrolls in Tokyo Jujutsu High and seeks to unravel the curse on his childhood friend, Rika Orimoto.
Tropes found in Cursed Child Arc:
- An Ass-Kicking Christmas: Geto announces to the Jujutsu tech that he will launch a mass scale invasion on the December 24th with the targets being Shinjuku and Kyoto. The climax of the arc takes place on Christmas Eve with the battle ending on December 25th, Christmas day.
- Foreshadowing: Geto is still alive in Jujutsu Kaisen despite Gojo having "killed" him, isn't he...
- In the Blood: Yuta is revealed to be from the same lineage as Satoru Gojo, explaining his raw strength.
- Mercy Kill: Suguru Geto is killed by Gojo at the end of this arc, who was already dying due to Yuta's attack.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Turns out Rika is cursed due to Yuta rejecting and hating the circumstances of her death.
- We Need a Distraction: Geto attacked Tokyo and Shinjuku with his army of Curses while he himself attacked Jujutsu High to capture the spirit of Rika Orimoto.
- Whole Episode Flashback: It takes place a year before Chapter 1, although The Stinger is implied to take place during Cursed Womb Arc.
