A wheelchair-bound Jackie and Jade must find a renegade toy who possesses the Rat Talisman.
- Actor Allusion: Jackie gets sent water-skiing while his leg is in a cast. While filming Rumble in the Bronx, Jackie Chan broke his foot. So, he shot the water-skiing scene in the film's climax wearing a special cast which made it look like he was wearing his shoes.
- Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: The rat Talisman ends up animating a giant Gnomekop.
- Bookends: The episode begins and ends with Uncle confident that Jackie, being injured, "is young and strong, he will heal quickly.".
- Foreshadowing: While researching the Rat talisman, Jackie muses that maybe it has the power to heal a broken leg. While not this talisman, a future talisman would end up having healing magic.
- Good Is Not Nice: Gnomekop has got to be one unpleasant superhero that Jade wonders why she ever liked him in the first place.
- Handicapped Badass: Jackie manages to kick the Dark Hand enforcers' tails while his leg is broken.
- Irony: Uncle can't help but humorously points out that Jackie, who had survived hundreds of the most death-defying and hazardous obstacles, gets injured after tripping and falling over a child's toy.
- Needle in a Stack of Needles: Gnomekop tries to hide in a toy store among dozens of other Gnomekop toys, although Jade manages to weed him out by saying "Oh, my gosh! Turbo Troll has captured the Gnome Princess!".
- What Kind of Lame Power Is Heart, Anyway?: Downplayed. The rat talisman would restore Shendu to flesh and blood. However, he would still require the Dark Hand's help obtaining the remaining talismans.
