Evidol Games Arc Summary

Chapter 184: A Promise to Kerori

At the start of a new day, Iruma's seen at home preparing for school. Iruma discusses with Ali of how he told Azz and Clara that he will aim higher, and that Kalego warned him to take things seriously due to the weight of being at Rank 5 (He). Thus, he asks Ali to watch over him as he works to become a strong man fit for said rank. Jumping ahead, Iruma's seen having a private meeting with Kerori, who's holding an Evidol dress. She asks him to become the cutest Evidol in the netherworld, much to Iruma's shock as to how sudden this is. Kerori explains that Iruma's technically in her debt due to the deal they made in the Harvest Festival. Thus, she holds Iruma and Lied to the promise they made, which it turns out that Lied's also with them for this private meeting. Lied's unable to believe that Iruma made such a promise on his behalf, but Iruma doesn't deny it. Kerori tries to motivate them to believe in the two female disguises that they showed off to her, and that they will truly shine with her and her agency's help.

Getting confused, Lied asks what she means by "her agency," which Kerori figures it's able time for Lied to know the truth. She dresses herself and Iruma up as their respective Kuromu and Irumi Evidol persona's, which the reveal causes Lied to scream out in surprise given that he's huge fan. After Lied calms down, he still remains unconvinced that he will be able to pull off singing and dancing in front of people while wearing a frilly dress. In return, Kerori informs Lied that the event she wants the two of them to perform in is no ordinary performance, but is actually a big event at the end of every year where boys and girls come together and make noise. Lied gets hyped up realizing what she's talking about as Kerori announces the biggest festival for Evidols: the Evidol Games. Kerori gets excited claiming that she's going to shine and make a name for herself there, but also points out the problem that she doesn't have any sporty girls in her agency. Hence, why she's asking Iruma and Lied for help.

Lied once more remains unconvinced given that the Evidol Games will be recorded, and gets all gloomy thinking about how girls seeing him dressed as a girl will turn women off towards him. However, Kerori once more gets him hyped to participate when she reveals that the rock Evidol, Gyari, will also be there performing, who Lied turns out to be a huge fanboy for. Switching her focus to Iruma, Kerori states that she's counting on him to be the Rank 5 Evidol that he is. In return, Iruma gets hyped thinking that this is what Kalego meant about taking Rank 5 (He) seriously, which Ali notes that it's obviously not. With that, the Kerori/Iruma/Lied Evidol team is officially created. Some time after, Gyari is seen at her agency getting word from her manager of the new Evidol team that Kuromu created. As she sits with other female demons fawning over her, Gyari states that no matter who Kuromu gets to help her, she's going to end her Evidol career.

Chapter 185: The Evidol Games

A narration is provided of how there's a 13th month of the year that demons use for celebration. For a month that lasts 13 days, it's here that the Demon King takes a break from his duties in order to celebrate the new year with his people by holding festivals all throughout the netherworld. One such festival starts on the last day of December and carries over into the 13th month: the Evidol Games. In the present day, demons are all seen arriving at a large stadium getting hyped for this year's Evidol Games. Iruma and Lied, shown dressed up as "Irumi" and "Lindy" respectively, are also seen arriving at the stadium, and are amazed at how huge it is along with the amount of people and Evidols there are. Kerori is also shown dressed up as Kuromu, and orders the two of them to calm down and play their part. The 3 of them smile together for photos, which shows that their practice to be an Evidol group is paying off. Shortly after, the 3 of them arrive at Kerori's Devimuse agency, which manager Mal thanks Iruma and Lied for being their life-savers.

Iruma notes of how he heard that they need 4 members for the Evidol Games, which Mal admits is the case. They spot a small girl hiding behind Mal wondering if she's their 4th member, but it turns out to just be Kerori's younger sister, Chima, who's too shy to truly approach them. Mal explains that their 4th member is a rookie Evidol named Merun from the country side, and is actually one of the few sporty girls their agency has, but she's yet to arrive. Suddenly, knocking is heard at the door as Gyari comes bursting in claiming that she's here to see Kuromu. The latter asks what she's doing here, which Gyari answers it's a given: a declaration of war to make Kuromu retire, much to the shock of Lied and Iruma. Lied mentions how he heard the rumors of the bad blood between Kuromu and Gyari where they used to be in the same Evidol group, but ended up clashing due to Gyari switching agencies. Gyari orders Kuromu to just retire and marry her, which again shocks Lied and Iruma realizing that Gyari's a lesbian. It also turns out that along the way, Gyari won Merun over to the point of her choosing to ditch Kuromi for her; leaving Kuromi's team short a member.

Gyari grabs hold of Kuromu, and makes a move on her claiming that the latter's now in trouble to the point of her reputation being in jeopardy. She orders Kuromu to retire and marry her in order to have the happiest ending. However, Irumi suddenly pulls Kuromu away claiming that the latter won't quit as it's her goal to shine the brightest as an Evidol. Irumi's action angers Gyari, which she points out that she knows about the concert where Kuromu and Irumi performed together. Claiming that she despises Irumi, Gyari goes about calling her ugly, and then proceeds to leave. Before leaving, she reminds Kuromu that the latter can't run as the "Greedy Gyari" always gets what she wants. She also gives Lindy an autograph given how obvious of a fan Lied's coming off, and then finally exits the room. Unable to handle being called ugly, Irumi gets angry, and announces to Kuromu and Lindy that they have to win.

Chapter 186: Team Devimuse

Jumping back a bit, the Evidol Games is seen accepting security volunteers to help keep the peace in case of panic or Wicked Phase outbreaks. One such volunteer is ordered to check on a commotion going in in Block A (Iruma's location), which said volunteer accepts the job. Back in the present, Irumi remains fired up to win the Evidol Games, but his Evidol group has to deal with the issue of finding a new 4th member first. Kuromu figures that they'll have to get her little sister, Chima, to participate, but she remains too shy to do so. Manager Mal even volunteers to take part and starts to get undressed, but Kuromu quickly refuses. In the end, Kuromu figures that their agency has no one capable enough to face Gyari, and describes the person they need as someone that has to be cute, sporty, a team player, and understands their circumstances. Suddenly, a knock is heard at the door as the security volunteer arrives to check on the commotion that just happened. To their surprise, the security volunteer turns out to be Ameri, who's shocked as well to see Iruma here dressed up as Irumi.

With no other option, Kuromu grabs hold of Ameri, and drags her along to get her dressed up as an Evidol. Shortly after, the stadium for the Evidol Games is now ready to begin. In addition, families, such as Azz's and Clara's, are seen watching the event from their home televisions. A demon named Machara serves as the main host announcing the beginning of the Evidol Games while his co-host is the Evidol specialist, Gontetsu, who clearly has a bias towards the female participants. Machara starts to announce the groups, such as Team Nenette, Team Beeber, and Team Saja, and then announces one of the main stars, Team Gyari, which makes the crowd go wild at the appearance of their "Greedy Diva." Machara asks for his co-hosts opinion, which Gontetsu states that it's going to be a battle between Gyari's greed, and a certain group's pride. The mentioned prideful group is the next to be announced as Kuromu appears in the stadium alongside her 3 teammates: Irumi, Lindy, and a confused Ameri who's unable to understand why she ended up in the group as the 4th member.

The sight of Iruma appearing as Irumi also comes as a shock to Azz and Clara as they're watching the Evidol Games from their homes. Back in the stadium, Gontetsu notes that this will be a tough fight for Kuromu given that her team appears to be filled with no-name rookies, which Machara agrees is the case given that Kuromu's Devimuse agency isn't known for having many sporty girls. Neither host remains convinced that Kuromu will be able to pull it off against Gyari with such a handicap, but Kuromu remains determined to fight given that her team consists of two Rank 4's (Kerori and Lied), a Rank 5 (Iruma), and a Rank 6 (Ameri). She announces to her team that they're going to hit them hard, which Irumi and Lindy remain determined for the challenge. Meanwhile, their confused fourth member, "Melie," is still trying to understand what's going on.

Chapter 187: Running for the Win

A flashback is seen of Henri advising his daughter, Ameri, to join up with the Evidol Games' security forces in order to get some field experience. Though, Henri also wants it to happen to keep her away from being distracted by Iruma. Ameri happily agrees to fulfill her duty, but as it turns out in the present, she remains confused as to why she's currently dancing as an Evidol in the center of the Evidol Games' stadium as Melie. Shortly after, Kuromu's team all reunite within the Devimuse agency, which the confused Melie demands an explanation. Kuromu provides Melie a recap of the problem they're currently facing regarding facing off against Gyari, and the need of a 4th member in order to combine their power and sparkle, but Melie rejects being a part of it. Melie tries to explain that she's only a volunteer, knows nothing about being an Evidol, and that her clothing is too embarrassing, which Lindy yells that he and Irumi have it worse dressing up as girls, yet they're still going through with it. Irumi then points out that Melie looks quite cute at the moment, which shocks the latter given her crush on Iruma.

With no other option left, a serious Kuromu kneels down before Melie, and asks for her help to win the Evidol Games. That while she's weak at everything else, her pride is on the line to win as the invincible cute Evidol. The statement leaves an impact on Melie remembering that Kuromu's songs helped her out in the past (such as the battle at Walter Park), and that as the Student Council president, she accepts to go along with it claiming that she has to do her best to help students that are pursing their ambitions. She states that they can count on her, which gets Kuromu and company excited. As Melie returns to the stadium however, she's still unable to handle everyone looking at her skimpy outfit. Host Machara gets to announcing the first event of the Evidol Games, which is a 66 Meter Sprint. Melie is seen going up against Evidols from Team Karam and Team Saja, which given that Melie is a rookie, they provide her advice that they just need to perform cute actions without actually needing try at the running part.

Hearing all the strategy advice about the Evidols wanting to look cute rather than actually try at running, Melie puts on her determined face, and states that unlike them, she doesn't view it embarrassing when it comes to demons wanting to take things seriously. The bell goes off to begin the 66 Meter Sprint, which Melie quickly dashes ahead down her running lane, much to the shock of the audience, and all the Evidol runners that she left in the dust. Melie grabs the flag at the finish line, and tries to perform a cute pose to look cute in front of her completely stunned audience. She says to herself that she may have been too cute as a narration is provided that Melie achieved 1st place in the 66 Meter Sprint game.

Chapter 188: Lindy's Roar

Melie continues to sweep through the Evidol Games scoring 1st place in the Cliff Climbing, Giant Ball Toss, and Vermin Hunting events. All while looking beautiful and leaving a massive impression on the stadium audience. Meanwhile, Melie's teammates, Kuromu, Irumi, and Lindy all sit back and smile smugly at their 4th member's continued success. During a break, the Kuromu team congratulates Melie for her efforts, which Irumi claims that she was the one shining the brightest out there. In return, Melie gives Irumi a headpat calling him cute, much to the latter's surprise. Meanwhile, Lindy performs some last minute stretches as its his turn to take part in the Evidol Games. Kuromu's about to offer another idea, but Lindy rejects it as they can't rely on just the president, and Kuromu needs to be in top condition for the second half. Before Lindy heads off, Irumi thanks him greatly for going along with this. In return, Lindy states that he's okay with it as being around Iruma means he's always guaranteed a good time, and views this as an event where he's having fun with his little brother.

Lindy thinks to himself that he should actually be the one thanking Iruma for this due to the Evidol Game that he's about to partake in: the crowd favorite known as the Tail-Wresting game. Female Evidols are seen using their tails to try to wrestle the oppoent's tail and come out the victor, which Lindy gets excited; thinking to himself that he's happy that he was born a man. Lindy remains totally hyped up to tail wrestle with the female Evidols all around him, but as it turns out, his oppoent ends up being a male Evidol from Team Beeber. The sparking male Evidol taunts Lindy that the latter shouldn't fall for him just because their tails touched, but he's greeted by an enraged Lindy easily tail wrestling him to the ground while yelling that he will definitely not. Lindy is awarded the knock-out much to the amazement of the audience that Kuromu's team has another unexpected winner. However, Lindy's next opponent ends up being another male from Team Beeber, which enrages him to try to win again. As Lindy continues the tail-wrestling competition, Irumi's seen getting himself ready to do his part for the Target Takedown game.

Chapter 189: The Strongest, Cutest Archer

The Evidol Games begins the next event, the Target Takedown game, which starts off with winged target circles floating in the sky above the stadium. However, one particular target is held by a little flying demon known as the High-Speed Target, which zooms around the stadium while holding a target circle that's worth more points. The Evidols all attempt to hit the High-Speed Target with their weapons and spells, but are unable to do so. Host Machara also provides a warning that Evidols who step out-of-bounds during Target Takdown are disqualified while Gontetsu just continues to enjoy the females by taking pictures with a camera. Meanwhile, Chima's seen at the stadium, and is unable to look at the audience due to her shyness, but Kuromu reassures her little sister to not look away as they're all about to have their mind blown. That when people have high expections for a certain someone (Iruma), he's more than likely to exceed those expectations.

The High-Speed Target continues to smugly zoom around the stadium avoiding all the Evidols' attacks. However, its target circle is suddenly struck by something that zooms right through the target, much to the shock of everyone watching. Everyone looks to the one who struck the High-Speed Target, which turns out to be Irumi holding a bow. Unlike Iruma's usual black bow, the Irumi bow takes a different form to look cute as if it's a bow held by an Evidol. Everyone is amazed by the sight of an archer Evidol wondering if she's someone connected to the Barbatos Family, which Irumi resumes his archery by asking Ali to keep going. Dressed up like a girl, Ali agrees to go along with it. Irumi asks Ali how many arrows the latter can make, which Ali answers it's a lot more than last time given his recent power-up. Irumi admits that there's something he wants to try, which Ali goes along with it knowing what Iruma wants to do. Many feather cores created by Ali appear around Irumi as he goes about striking down every flying target circle, much to the shock of everyone.

One of the Evidols attempts to go for pushing Irumi out-of-bounds, but one of his arrows zooms right past her, which Irumi leaves an impression on her asking the Evidol to be careful. Irumi then decides to copy master Bachiko, and proceeds to fire four arrows at once. He manages to hit all 4 of the remaining target circles at once, and to everyone's shock, Irumi's announced the winner of the Target Takedown game. Mal and Chima congratulate Irumi for his performance, but Kuromu pouts in annoyance claiming that while she's happy at Irumi's success, she's annoyed that Iruma is once more shining too brightly and taking all the attention. Suddenly, the announcement is made for the winner of the Tail-Wrestling game. However, it's not Lied who won, but Gyari, who ended up destroying him along with all the other Evidols who took part in Tail-Wresting. Gyari takes the microphone, and orders "Irugly" to come over so that they can have a chat, which causes Irumi to pout in anger given that he was called ugly again.

Chapter 190: The Millionaire and the Jewel

A brief flashback is seen of Iruma training with Kerori to learn how to make himself look cute as Irumi. In the present, the pouting Irumi approaches Gyari in the center of the Evidol Games stadium to confront her over being called ugly. Meanwhile, Melie checks on the unconscious Lindy regarding his loss in the Tail-Wrestling game. Upon waking up, Lindy warns Melie that he lost because he got caught up within Gyari's world where it seemed like she was embracing him. As Gyari and Irumi face off for a chat, the former yells that her Tail-Wrestling stood out more compared to Irumi's Target Takedown while Irumi just constantly yells back that he's not ugly. Gyari then makes the announcement that once she's won the Evidol Games, she's going to make Kuromu marry her, which shocks and confuses the audience.

Suddenly, Kuromu approaches the two of them to reject the marriage proposal, and raises Irumi's hand claiming that the one she's going to marry is Irumi, which not only shocks the audience even further, but Gyari and Irumi as well. Even the rest of Kuromu's team remain confused not knowing how to handle this situation. As Gyari remains stunned silent not knowing what to say, Kuromu takes Irumi to the stadium exit tunnel to calm down as Kuromu's ice magic acts up in embarrassment after causing such a scene. Kuromu apologizes to Irumi, and provides him an explanation as to why she did that. That in the past, Gyari was the only one who was able to keep up performing the "Hell Dance" with her, and was offered a chance by her Devimuse agency to become a duet. However, it turns out that Kuromu was the one who turned down the offer as there's a reason she can't be with Gyari.

Kuromu further explains that it's similar to the greedy millionaire role that Sabro played in their Lilith's Red Carpet performance where Gyari can get everything she wants, but not the precious jewel that she desires, which would be Kuromu. Thus, Gyari can continue shining if she continues to chase after Kuromu, but the moment Gyari finally has her would mean that her love vanishes, as well as her ability to shine. Overall, Kuromu makes it clear to Irumi that what she wants is to see Gyari shine by continuously trying to reach for her. In return, Irumi thinks to himself that he's realized what Kuromu is: a sparkling Evidol who's also a really selfish demon. After Kuromu's fully calmed down, her and Irumi return to the stadium for the next game. The audience all start to get hyped up as the next event is a Flying Cavalry Battle.

Chapter 191: Irumi's Fanclub

A brief flashback is seen of Iruma at home the moment he heads off to the Evidol Games while Sullivan and Opera remain on standby to watch him depart. Iruma apologizes that he can't spend time with them for the month's end, but Sullivan's perfecly okay with it knowing that he's participating in the Evidol Games for Kerori's sake. Iruma also makes it clear for them to not watch the event, but given their interest, Sullivan and Opera do just that by turning on their television to watch the Evidol Games. The sight of Iruma as Irumi leaves them both stunned to the point of them needing to record the games, and even get a better quality television. Meanwhile at Babyls, Kalego takes a break from school work to watch some television with Shichiro, who decides to watch the Evidol Games. The sight of Irumi comes as a shock to both of them knowing right away that it's Iruma. Shichiro remains excited to watch the games while the embarrassed Kalego wants nothing to do with it.

At that same time at the Asmodeus household, the worried Azz wants to leave right away for the Evidol Games after seeing Iruma putting his pride on the line to take part in the event as Irumi. However, Azz's mother, Amaryllis, warns her son that she will get angry as he made a promise to spend time with her for the month's end, which freaks Azz out into staying put. Suddenly, Clara arrives at his house as she's ready to depart for the Evidol Games, but as Azz is about to tell her that he can't go, Amaryllis is happy to see Clara, and drags the two of them back into her home so that they can cheer Irumi on at their television together. Clara uses her Creation magic to turn the gathering into a tea party as they watch the Evidol Games from their television. Along with noticing Ameri participating as Melie, and an unknown teammate named Lindy, the two of them go about cheering on Irumi whenever they see him. The sight of Azz cheering leaves Amaryllis, and their butler, David, happy that they're getting to see many different sides of him thanks to the influence of his two friends: Iruma and Clara.

As the Evidol Games continues, Azz and Clara get excited when they witness Irumi win the Target Takedown game. The two of them also get angry over Gyari calling him ugly. Suddenly, Azz and Clara are left stunned in shock when they witness Kuromu announce that she's going to marry Irumi, which the Asmodeus household devolves into complete chaos. Meanwhile at the Evidol Games stadium as if he senses Azz and Clara going nuts, Irumi suddenly gets a strange feeling that an awful disturbance just happened somewhere. Moments after, host Machara provides the announcement for the start of the next game: the Evidol Cavalry Battle. Each of the 4-person Evidol groups are seen in the stadium in their cavalry formations ready to fight. As for Kuromu's group, Melie serves as the front horse holding up Kuromu while Irumi and Lindy are the side horse supports. Kuromu makes the announcement that it's time to go to war.

Chapter 192: Greedy Gyari

Manager Mal and Gyari's manager are seen taking many calls trying to perform damage control for the marriage proposal mess caused by Kuromu and Gyari. However, Gyari's manager notes that Gyari's reached a point where she can't be stopped now. Back at the stadium, host Machara explains the rules of the Flying Cavalry Battle, which is that all 4 members of each Evidol group are wearing ribbons worth points. The ribbons of the 3 horses are worth 20 points while the ribbon of the general is worth 100 points. In addition, Evidols are only allowed to use their bodies to fight; meaning that flying and use of magic is banned. The Flying Cavalry Battle officially begins, which Melie quickly charges towards the other Evidol groups, and starts to steal away many ribbons. Even after hearing from Irumi that Kuromu's marriage proposal towards him was just a stunt to rile up Gyari, Melie remains determined to end the Evidol Games instantly just to make sure that his marriage with Kuromu doesn't happen.

With all other cavalry teams already eliminated by the Kuromu team, Gyari approaches them being carried on a chair as if her cavalry team's a war chariot. As the two remaining teams stand opposite one another, Gyari yells to get Kuromu's attention. A flashback for Gyari is seen where as a kid, she viewed herself as the hero of the story. That she was born a star, and given a huge fortune to the point that she always got what she wanted. Gyari always got people to follow and suck up to her, which gave her the impression that as the heroine of the story, the world revolved around her. That all changed the moment Gyari saw Kuromu performing on a television, which such a dazzling performance left an impact on Gyari to the point of her realizing that there was another star protagonist. Thus, Gyari decides that like everything else, Kuromu must become hers. Some time after, Gyari joins the Devimuse agency. Upon meeting Kuromu, Gyari proudly claims that the former is now hers, but Kuromu instantly rejects her. Still determined to make Kuromu hers, Gyari remains at Devimuse to practice alongside Kuromu, and after some time ends up the only Evidol able to keep up with her.

Despite proving that she can keep up, Gyari's unable to understand why Kuromu rejected performing as a duo with her. In return, Kuromu explains that Gyari would be better off leaving Devimuse. That if Gyari truly wanted Kuromu to be hers, she should work to surpass and shine better than her. Accepting the challenge to leave Devimuse, Gyari gives Kuromu a hug while claiming that if she wins, they will get married. Back in the present, Gyari complains to Kuromu about the promise they made. That each time it looks like she's finally reached Kuromu, it turns out that the latter is now further away. Showing off an ecstatic face wanting Kuromu more than ever, Gyari claims that she will just end up desiring to have her even more should Kuromu continue to remain out of reach. As she continues to become excited, Gyari orders Kuromu to continue running, because in the end, she will eventually catch her given that shes the main heroine. Watching Gyari's speech, her manager notes that his Evidol appears to be rather stupid, which manager Mal just sighs in agreement.

Chapter 193: Chima's Voice

The other cavalry teams just stand back and watch as the atmosphere around the opposing Kuromu and Gyari teams heats up. While Kuromu and Gyari attempt to swipe at each other's ribbons, Irumi plays keep away from Gyari's supporters trying to swipe at his ribbon. Though an enraged Melie gets between them not wanting to see Irumi get hurt. As the fight between the two cavalry teams continues, Chima is seen nearby trying to cheer for her sister. Due to her shyness however, her soft voice keeps getting overtaken by the cheering audience. Remembering Kuromu's words about needing to pay close attention, Chima winds up viewing it as needing to get closer, and steps out into the stadium to stand before the dueling Kuromu and Gyari teams. In an attempt to finally get her support across, Chima yells for Kuromu to do her best. Chima's sudden appearance in the middle of the stadium during the cavalry match shocks the Kuromu and Gyari teams as it results in everyone falling over into a huge pile up on top of Chima, much to the shock of everyone watching.

At the bottom of the pile, it turns out that Irumi, Melie, and Lindy were able to hold up the pile to keep it from falling onto Chima. Irumi and company are glad to see that Chima's okay, but as they bring their focus back to the match, they see a smiling Gyari holding Kuromu's ribbon high up in the air; meaning that Kuromu's team has lost to Gyari. Approaching the confused Kuromu, Gyari states proudly that she's finally caught her, and walks away. Shortly after, Kuromu's team are all back in the Devimuse agency to regroup. Lindy tries to reassure Kuromu that there's still one event left, and tries to believe that Kuromu's retirement and marriage is just an act. However, Kuromu admits it's the case as neither her or Gyari came to the Evidol Games with weak convictions. Kuromu provides the bad news that because of Gyari winning the cavalry battle, she gets to choose the music genre for the final Live Performance event, which is obviously going to be her specialty: rock music. A worried Kuromu breaks out into a long speech going over their huge disadvantage, and all the things they will need to keep up, only for Irumi to clap his hands in front of her to bring her back to focus.

Seeing that he finally has Kuromu's attention again, Irumi points her in the direction of her little sister pulling at her clothes. The crying Chima apologizes for her actions causing her big sister to lose. In return, Kuromu hugs her while claiming that she's not angry. Irumi, Melie, and Lindy also chip in trying to cheer up Chima that everything's fine, which causes Kuromu to realize that for once, she's not alone. That she actually has a team supporting her. Bowing before her teammates, Kuromu apologizes to them for falling into Gyari's idiocy. Claiming that she's fine now, Kuromu announces that they will be sure to beat Gyari at her own game, and that they will shine as Evidols to make this the best show that will have the whole audience smiling. A confident Kuromu claims that they can do this because they're all super cute.

Chapter 194: One Hell of a Rock

The last event for the Evidol Games, the Live Performance, is set to begin. The four final teams being Team Beeber, Team Nenette, Kuromu's team, and Gyari's team. Team Beeber takes the stage first, and begins their rock performance, but it's suddenly interrupted by Gyari popping in on her motorcycle, which her team starts to rock out. Team Beeber cries foul, but the confident Gyari reminds them that "waiting your turn" isn't how rock works. As Gyari and her team continues to play their rock music, the audience, which was all upset at first that Team Beeber was interrupted, is now all hyped up and enjoying the music. A narration is provided that Gyari is someone who sings a lot of songs. However, they're songs that all share the same title.

A flashback is seen during Gyari's rock debut where her agency got upset that she completely changed the song they made for her. However, her manager is perfectly fine with it as Gyari proved herself during the performance that she's a cool Evidol like no other. As it turns out, what Gyari excels at is improvised rock thanks to her knowledge of music, and having her own natural charisma. Thus, none of her songs are ever the same, and that such freedon resonates with the demons who watch her. Back in the present, Gyari finishes her improvised rock perfomance, which the audience all erupts in excitement. Holding up her microphone in triumph before the cheering crowd, Gyari thinks to herself that she's beat Kuromu's cuteness with her coolness. Team Beeber accepts their spotlight being stolen away, and asks if Team Nenette wants to go ahead of them. However, Team Nenette remains unmotivated knowing that they can't stand up to Gyari's performance, and figure that this competition is already over. The Beeber and Nenette teams are told to step aside by Irumi if they're not going to sing, which leaves them stunned silent upon what they're witnessing.

As Gyari is about to put on another performance, she's suddenly interrupted by Kuromu's team setting themselves up on the stage. Everyone is left confused as to why Kuromu, Lindy, and Melie look more like rock stars rather than the cute team they were before. Gyari remains unconvinced that they can beat her just by looking like her, and is about to call Irumi ugly again. However, she's stunned silent by the sight of Wicked Phase Irumi standing on the stage. He asks back who it is that she's calling ugly as the audience are all stunned in shock and blushing at what they're seeing. Taking the microphone, a confident Wicked Phase Irumi announces that he's about to sing the sweetest little rock song that they've ever heard in their lives.

Chapter 195: Arrogant Diva

Flashing back a bit to the Devimuse agency, Kuromu's seen holding a meeting with Irumi, Lindy, and Melie regarding what to do for their Live Performance. She concludes that in order for their cuteness to win, they need to learn to stop being cute, which confuses her 3 teammates. Kuromu explains that the only way to truly beat Gyari at her own game is to overwhelm her with cuteness that she's never dreamed about, which is to go all out at showing off coolness at first in order to defy the audience's expectations, and then switch to cuteness in the second half of their performance. Overall, Kuromu calls this plan the "Meanies to Cuties Switch," which Lindy and Melie catch on that the charm will be the stark contrast of showing off both personas.

Kuromu informs her team that she will provide them everything they need that they believe will make them look cool. She then turns to Irumi pointing out that this will be their first time performing together since the Makubari Dome performance, and states that she's excited to hear his wicked cool voice, which gives Irumi an idea. While everyone else gets ready, Irumi calls upon Ali, and asks it for a favor in order to go all out. Ali agrees to go along with it, and casts the same spell that made Iruma go Wicked Phase. Returning to the group, the sight of Wicked Phase Irumi comes as a shock to Kuromu and company. Back in the present, the stadium audience are all left stunned in amazement at the sight of Wicked Phase Irumi as the Kuromu group all begin their rock concert with Irumi as the lead vocalist, and Kuromu as his main support singer. Their music revolves around a rock remix of the cute "Your Little Imp Apocalypse" song where Irumi is the imp that teases the audience and strings them along to go with the flow.

Watching their rock performance, Gyari becomes enraged thinking that while it was a good idea challenging her to rock music, what they're performing is just a charade. However, Irumi suddenly switches off lead vocal, and takes to playing a piano keyboard while Kuromu replaces him as the lead singer. Switching off rock, Kuromu starts to sing the original cute version of "Your Little Imp Apocalypse," which not only leaves an impact on the audience, but Gyari as well. The Kuromu team continues on with their performance as the audience erupts into massive cheers at what they're witnessing. Standing before her cheering crowd, Kuromu thinks to herself that she's just too selfish and wants all the attention to herself compared to Gyari just being cool. That she would rather be cute and cool at the same time. Gyari remains silent unable to say anything, and as the performance reaches its end, Kuromu provides her thanks to the audience for watching.

Chapter 196: Passion in Greed

With the Evidol Games now over, judge Gontetsu steps forward to crown this year's champions. Gontetsu provides his thanks to everyone who participated along with praising their efforts, and first gets to awarding the two MVEs (Most Valuable Evidol) who livened up the tournament the most. He asks the audience to give a round of applause to the greedy and selfish divas: Kuromu and Gyari. To everyone's confusion however, Gyari doesn't appear on stage alongside Kuromu, which makes the situation awkward wondering if something happened. Gontetsu quickly provides his congratulations to Kuromu and moves on to the next award, which is to announce the overall winner of the Evidol Games. Given everything that they accomplished, Team Kuromu are announced the winners of this year's Evidol games as Kuromu, Melie, Lindy and Wicked Phase Irumi all stand on stage before the cheering crowd. Kuromu is asked to step forward to provide her final speech, but she's quickly interrupted by the arrival of Gyari on her motorcycle.

Gyari stands before Kuromu, but instead of her usual antics, she calmly states that she was a fool for not noticing that Kuromu's grown since the last time they saw one another. That Kuromu is indeed the ideal woman. Gyari announces that she will definitely be the one who eventually turns Kuromu's head, and that she loves her. Smiling at one another, Kuromu replies back that she knows as the audience all cheers at Gyari's love proclamation. Kuromu gets a bit annoyed at how awkward it was being alone during the MVE announcement, which Gyari smiles back that her being absent was obvious as she was getting many flower bouquets at the time. Sure enough, Gyari and her team all surround Kuromu with flowers as their congratulatory gift. Kuromu then gets back to providing her final speech stating that as a sparkling Evidol who's job is to make everyone smile, she wants to become the beacon of hope that shines for everyone when they're in a dark and scary place. She announces that her ambition is to become the greatest Evidol to ever shine, which everyone cheers. Kuromu also mentions that Irumi, Lindy, and Melie will remain as her team next year, much to their shock.

Chapter 197: Deviler's Eve

Following the Evidol Games' award ceremony, the stadium becomes a party amongst the Evidols to celebrate Deviler's Eve. For the last 30 minutes, Evidols get to recover from their fierce battles, and the audience gets to enjoy the sight of said Evidols during their time off. Wicked Phase Irumi draws the attention of the other Evidols trying to congratulate him, which Melie provides him a hat to try to keep him out of focus. Despite being in his Wicked Phase, Irumi shows that he's still flustered by everything, and only accomplished what he did because he went with the flow. Meanwhile, Lindy is put off by the fact that his efforts during the Evidol Games didn't grab the attention of the ladies, but the male Evidols, who go about trying to hit on him. Irumi stays out of focus sitting alone on a bench until Kuromu sits down next to him. She thanks Irumi for everything from saving Chima to helping with the concert. Irumi gives her a headpat in return claiming that she's cute, which causes Kuromu to blush. However, Gyari suddenly steps between them annoyed by their flirtatious atmosphere.

Not wanting to anger Kuromu, Gyari admits that Irumi has proven herself to be a fine woman. Thus, Gyari announces that she's decided to make Irumi her wife as well, much to the shock of Kuromu, Melie, and Lindy. Gyari explains her logic that marrying both Kuromu and Irumi would be like having the whole package since Kuromu has already decided to marry Irumi. That Kuromu would be Gyari's main wife while Irumi is her side wife. Gyari deems herself a genius since she has two hands, but it comes as a shock to her when she sees a disgusted Kuromu totally turned off at the idea to the point of her ice magic acting up, and making the surrounding atmosphere feel cold. Everyone remains confused about this whole situation until host Machara provides the announcement that the final countdown to Deviler is about to begin. Counting down from 5, all the Evidols celebrate Happy 13th in front of the televised recorder once they reach 0 to celebrate the start of the 13th month.

Jumping ahead, a normal Iruma is seen back home waking up in bed. Iruma remains convinced that everything he just experienced regarding the Evidol Games was all just a dream, but he's quickly brought back to reality by the excited Sullivan and Opera showing off the Wicked Phase Irumi performance that they recorded on their television, much to his embarrassment. Suddenly, Azz and Clara come storming in wanting to know more about Iruma participating in the Evidol Games, and the talk of marriage that was going on. As chaos within Iruma's home ensues, Iruma's Evidol Games champion trophy is seen on the nearby table. A picture of the Team Devimuse champions consisting of Kuromu, Irumi, Melie, and Lindy, is seen next to it.
