The Amduscias Invitation Arc is the 17th Story Arc of the Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun manga series.
The arc centers around Kirio and First Finger Wett infiltrating Babyls in order to convince Amduscias to meet with their master, Baal, regarding bringing back the missing Demon King Delkira. During the infiltration, Kirio stops by his old Magic Tools Research room to possibly meet Iruma again only to meet Azz instead. The meeting goes sour once Azz catches on that Kirio's an evil demon, which forces Kirio to leave, but Wett managed to convince Amduscias to meet Baal with them.
The arc consists of chapters 173 and 174.
Amduscias Invitation Arc Summary
Chapter 173: The Eyes
The Abnormal class' Music Festival celebration party continues, which they all remain excited wanting to see if Iruma's black bow evolved after rising up to Rank 5 (He). Iruma mentions that he's unable to make it without the feather core, but as he starts to head off to retrieve it, he's stopped by Azz and Clara. They remain worried that Iruma going out now could result in him being overtaken and bothered by other students who want to meet with Iruma given what he accomplished. Thus, Azz offers to get the feathers himself from the Magic Tools Research division room, and heads off. Once Azz arrives at the room, Azz sees that the door for the Magic Tools Research room is open, which he storms in believing it to be their 4th member, Schnare Eligos, trying to make things again without permission. However, he's instead greeted by the surprise return of the Magic Tools Research division's original owner, Kirio Amy.Moments after, Kirio is seen sitting at a table within the division room with Azz as they drink some tea. Azz thinks to himself that he's got so much to ask Kirio given the mystery surrounding the latter's disappearance from school. However, Azz remembers a promise he made with Iruma to not dig into the details regarding what happened during the encounter with Kirio at the Battler Party, which he remains stuck not knowing what so say. Kirio instead starts the conversation mentioning how surprising it is that the Magic Tools Research division is still around despite his absense, which causes Azz to praise Iruma's efforts to preserve it, and gloats about Iruma's accomplishments all the way up to achieving Rank 5 (He). Surprised, Kirio catches on that Azz is Iruma's guiding light who always helps the latter push forward. Azz states that Iruma would be happy if Kirio stopped by to see him, which Kirio ominously agrees he would as well. As Kirio looks directly at Azz, he's suddenly greeted by the latter attempting to quickly stab him with a fire sword, which Kirio summons up his Barrier to block the attack.
Kirio taunts Azz to be careful as his fire can burn someone. In return, Azz claims that he learned from master Shichiro showing him videos of what demons look like when they fully succumb to their Wicked Phases. That their eyes are now permanently evil and demonic looking. Seeing Kirio just now with that same set of eyes, the enraged Azz orders Kirio to state why a demon who's Returned to Origins is trying to get close to Iruma. At that same time, Amduscias is seen in the school hallway having caught a questionable student who was following him, and slams said student into the wall. The student takes his disguise off to reveal himself as Wett of the Six Fingers, which he apologizes for his actions. Wett explains that he's here to see if Amduscias is interested in the topic of reviving Demon King Delkira, which catches Amduscias' attention.
Chapter 174: Black and White Demons
Amduscias proceeds to beat Wett up out of anger for implying that Demon King Delkira is dead and needs to be revived. Pinning Wett down on the floor, the enraged Amduscias is about to land the killing blow over such treason, but Wett uses his finger to write out a quick apology message for misspeaking. Wett continues his written message changing his offer to "reuniting" with Delkira rather than it being revival, which once more catches Amduscias' attention.Meanwhile within the Magic Tools Research room, Azz still has his fire sword active trying to break through Kirio's Barrier, but is unable to understand how Kirio can make such a powerful barrier when his magic is so weak. Seeing Azz's confusion, Kirio provides him the answer that he's using borrowed magic from a certain item his big brother (Baal) made for him. Showing the ring on his neck collar providing him the magic, Kirio taunts that it's just like Iruma's. Enraged, Azz attempts to strike him again with his fire-magic. Azz yells that Kirio's only getting to Iruma over his dead body, which Kirio admits that Azz is pure-white to the point of being clueless. Becoming ecstatic, Kirio orders Azz to continue admiring Iruma as one day, he's going to relish in exposing the parts that Iruma wants to hide. As Azz is on the verge of going all out, Clara enters the room irritated at how long Azz has been gone. The worried Azz warns Clara to not get any closer due to Kirio being dangerous, but as they both look back to the spot Kirio was at, they see that he's disappeared; having jumped out the window to escape.
Shortly after, Kirio is seen walking away from Babyls. Wett eventually reunites with him, which Kirio notes that he looks quite beat up. The First Finger answers that it's because he's not cut out for trying to woo people, but Kirio laughs it off, and thanks Wett for completing his work. Wett asks back how things went on Kirio's end, which Kirio ominously states that he didn't find what he was looking for, but adds that the next time will be different. Getting back to the main subject, Wett figures that since they accomplished their main objective, they should leave before the dogs of Babyls catch them. He asks the third person with them if he agrees, which turns out to be Amduscias. The former 13 crown reminds Wett that wooing him will cost a lot, which Wett smiles back knowing full well that's the case. As the three of them walk into the darkness, Wett assures Amduscias that he's free to choose since they just want to talk to him.
