Summary
After a day of ice skating with her future in-laws and Makoto, Kyoko sits bored when Komaru drags Makoto outside to play in the snow with her. Seizing the opportunity, Hana decides to engage her in a game of shogi. How will Kyoko and Hana bond over their shared pastime?

- Ambiguous Situation: It's never revealed whether Hana or Kyoko won their shogi match. When Kiki asks who won, both Hana and Kyoko just say that it didn't matter.
- Friendly Tickle Torture: Komaru and Shingi pin Makoto down and tickle him in order to get him to admit to missing Kyoko.
- Technician Versus Performer: When the two are playing shogi, Kyoko takes the game seriously due to her mainly having played with Fuhito for detective training while Hana's not overanalyzing the game and is just trying to have fun.
